Josie: At school

Katelyn had just left to go to her next class, Ericka and I just both looked at each other with shocked faces.

“I think we should tell someone…” I said to Ericka

“What do you mean, it’s not like she tried to kill herself?” Ericka said confusingly

“She is acting so different and she said she just felt like dying… I think we should tell Noah” I said. Ericka looked shocked when I said that, she looked at me like I was crazy. Then she rolled her eyes at me and walked away, I was so mad that she would do that. I just ignored that she just did that and walked to my next class. When I got to my next hour I realized Noah was in my same hour, I knew I had to tell him what Katelyn was feeling so he could talk to her. I ran up to my desk dropped my stuff at my desk and then ran up to Noah.

“Huh...No..Ah.” I said out of breath

“Whoa, Josie you okay there?!?” Noah said jokingly

“That doesn’t matter, its Katelyn you need to talk to her.” I said to him

“Wait, what is she okay?!” Noah asked worriedly

“You need to go talk to her while I go talk to the consular, she said she is really depressed and wants to die!” I said loudly

“WHAT!” Noah said

“Just go, I’ll go too.” I said to him. We both bolted out of the room not worrying about the teacher or getting in trouble. When we got to the middle hallway we headed off in different directions, I ran to the left going to the consular office. I rushed through the door, when I got in there the consular looked shocked.

“Can I help you?” she asked nicely

“Uhh...yea.” I said breathing heavily

“Are you okay dear?” the nice lady asked me

“Yes, I just need to talk to you urgently about my friend… Katelyn.” I said nervously

“Okay, go ahead and sit down while I get some paper.” She said

I plopped myself down in the comfy chair near her desk, I curiously looked around her room at all the posters and nick nacks. Right when I was going to pick up this little toy penguin on her desk she walked back in with a notebook and pen and sat back down in her chair.

“So, what can I help you with?” She asked nicely

“Oh...umm… well my friend Katelyn, she was kind of acting really different. She told me she was depressed and wanted to die.” I told her. She was looking down at her oddly colored notebook writing in cursive. When she finished her sentence she looked back up at me, looking like she wanted to know more.

“Is there anything else, how long has she been acting like this?” she asked me

“No, not really…” I said to her

“Okay you may go back to you classroom, have a great day.” She said very nicely

I got up out of my seat and walked out and headed back to my class.
