Qidditch Anyone?

There's another game today. I told Fred I would go watch him, but of course it's against Ravenclaw. So I'll be rooting for my own team.
It's a bit cold out, still snowing but no wind, luckily. It's hard enough for them to have to play in the snow, but the wind too. Now that's just torture.
"Hey (y/f) ready to go to the match?"
"Yeah. Lemme grab my scarf...Kay let's go."
We head out of our room and then the common room then into the hallway.
Some days it seems like such a short walk. But not today, at least we're gonna be some of the first ones out there so we're not being trampled. Ugh but walking back in, that'll be a different story...
Corridor after corridor we slowly approach one of the castle exits and out through the castle. We now are walking on the cold icy sidewalk surrounded by powdery snow. It's still not too cold, luckily.
"Do you think we'll win this time?" (Y/f) asks.  "I done know, our keeper is still a little injured from when the (different house)  team sent him to the hospital wing."
"Oh yeah...that wasn't good... but he's almost all better now!"
"Yeah, almost. Im surprised Madam Pomfrey actually let him out to play another match."
We made it out to the field and climbed up to where the Ravenclaw seats were, I wanted to sit at the front.
Both teams are only just warming up. The actual game doesn't start for another half hour.
"Well it looks like someone knows you're here. He's showing off just for you."
I look over to see Fred on his broom acting like an idiot. But he's an adorable idiot so it's fine. But he is trying to do everything with sharp turns and flips.
"YOU BETTER LOOK OUT OR YOULL GET HURT!" I yell at him.
He just winks and continues to practice with his team. What a goof. I watch as the team flies around and yells at each other.  I love to watch Quidditch but I'd never be able to play it. It's too...dangerous, I think that's the word I'm looking for.
I don't think we have gone one game without someone getting injured or hurt in anyway. Why can't we just play a muggle game for once? Those aren't usually as dangerous.
I pull my scarf tighter as a slight breeze passes by us.
"Ugh I hate the cold." I say. More people begin to come over to the stadium and fill up the seats. There's only ten minutes left till the game starts.
It begins to get loud behind me as the seats begin to fill more quickly.  Soon our section was full and there were only two minutes left till the game.
Dumbledore begins to speak, announcing that the game is about to begin. With a few more words, the match begins!

~le time skip to after the game~

It's after the game and the teams are in their tents after the games. Either changing or just partying. Boys...
I wait outside Gryffindors tent for Fred, hoping to congratulate him on how he played. But they were all shouting in there. I figured they were excited.
Harry walked out of the tent first.
"Hiya Harry, good game today."
"Oh thanks." And with that he ran off to his friends. Oh my gosh, what's taking them so long? It's not like there's a ton to do in there! It's a tent for corns sake!
I walk in, thinking I might regret it, but they were all just sitting around talking amongst each other. I stand there awkwardly at the entrance looking for Fred.
He spots me first, he runs over and swoops me off my feet and hoists me up into his shoulders. "(Y/n)! Have you come to celebrate our win with us?" He asks excitedly.
"You know Im on the other team right? I cannot just come party with you after my team loses."
"Ah but what's the fun in that? You know Gryffindor is where it's at!"
All I do is smile cause I know that arguing with him is pointless.
"Alright, I think I'm good enough to walk on my own." I say.
"Oh right, sorry bout that." He lowers me back to the ground.
"Well, what are you planning on doing the rest of this fine Saturday?"
"Oh I don't know. What about you?"
"Well I was hoping we could do something together. Like just the two of us."
A grin begins to form on his face,"like a date?" He asks.
"Sure, like a date."
"Okay I'll tell George and then we can go now if you'd like."
"That's fine with me if it's fine with you guys."
He walks over to his twin and tells him the plan. He just smiles and nods in return. So I can tell he is okay with us going.
Fred comes back over to me, "Ready to go madam?" He asks while he extends his arm for me. "Yes, as long as you don't do the formal talk the whole time." I laugh back.
"Oh fine. I thought you girls liked that sort of stuff."
"Not when it's not natural, I like you just the way you are."
His face reddens,"blimey aren't you polite!"
"No I mean it. You're great."
"Well miss (Y/L/N) I like you are great the way you are too."
     I feel my cheeks burn,"thanks..." I mutter.
"Alright what do you want to do? I reckon no more boat rides."
"There's only one way you'd get me into a boat."
"Do I have to offer another kiss?"
"No, the only way to get me into another boat is if I am dead."
He laughs, "I'll make sure not to bring it up then!".
"Alright, what are our other choices?"
"Maybe we could play chess? Or set off firecrackers in a teachers classroom, or put mini explosives in in the dungeons."
"Um, Fred? How about we do something a little more calm and that won't get us in trouble?"
"Oh right! Sorry, I tend to get carried away."
"I know." I say with a smile,"I'm used to that."
"You amaze me a little bit more everyday with how you care to get to know me."
"Here, follow me..."
