Esther's POV

I got dressed as fast as I could, brushed my hair and refreshed myself. Of course I didn't want to look like a total tramp, when I finally tell my crush I like him.

I went downstairs towards the office, hearing Kade and Jake planning the vlog for today. I knocked at the door frame, since the door was already open.

I could feel my heart racing, and the air planes cruising through my stomach.

Both of them looked up, seeing me standing there. 

"When you guys are done here, could I talk to you Kade?" I said nervously.

"Yes, sure. Give us ten minutes." Kade smiled.

"I'll wait in the garden." I said, already turning around, because I was so nervous.

I went outside, playing with my hair, and planning how I could tell him without scaring him off.

I took a seat on the bench, and waited for him to come here.

*few minutes later*

"So what do you want to talk about?" Kade asked, pulling me out of my thoughts, causing me to jump a little.

He took a seat next to my and I started babbling.

"Well, now you know the whole relationship was just a prank. Actually Chance told me, he told you it was a prank earlier than we announced it to everyone else, but I didn't know you knew, so of course I acted like I couldn't like you, because of the prank, you know." 

Wow, planning how I could tell him went great as you see. 

"Yeah I know, why don't you just tell me what I don't know yet." he laughed.

I commanded all the courage I had and thought the easiest way to tell him is by doing it upfront.

"I could show you instead of telling you." I said, looking into his eyes, seeing the confusion on his face.

I grabbed his collar with both my hands, pulling him closer and smiling at him. I closed my eyes and locked my lips with his.

I backed off a little to see his reaction, hoping he understood what I was trying to show him.

He smiled at me and this time he pulled me closer, kissing me again.

I smiled into the kiss, feeling that he did the same, whilst pulling me onto his lap.

The air planes in my stomach started flying in all directions, and I felt so happy, that he finally knew and apparently he felt the same.

I jumped back on the bench, when I heard Chance and Tessa giggling a few metres next to us.

"Finally you guys talked, or something like that." Chance laughed.

Kade and I looked at each other smiling, then Kade turned back to Chance.

"Wait, so you knew she likes me and you didn't tell me?" Kade asked him, raising one eyebrow.

"Yeah, she kind of told me, but I didn't want to intervene. The best way is to figure it out by yourself." Chance smirked.

"Because you both were so great at figuring it out on your own." I interposed, glancing at Chance.

"Does that mean you also knew Kade liked me, and that is why you told him about the prank, but you didn't think it would be appropriate to tell me, while I felt like shit because of the whole situation." My eyes widened, realising how easy it could have been, if Chance would've talked to one of us.

"You're dead, Sutton." I screamed, jumping off of the bench towards him and knocking him to the ground.

"Oh come on, you locked Tessa and me up in the office, so we could talk so I think we are even." Chance laughed.

"Ok, fine." I laughed, pushing him back to the ground, while getting up.

I went back to Kade, whereas Tessa and Chance went back inside.

"So, do you want to hang out tonight, we could go back to Santa Monica and you could see the Pier at night." Kade asked.

"I'd love to." I said, giving him a peck on the cheek.

*In the evening*

I jumped out of Kade's car, admiring the Pier in the darkness of the night. It looked so stunning and I couldn't believe I was at this amazing place, with the boy I started liking a few days back and feeling as happy as never before.

We walked down the beach, when I saw a blanket and candles right in front of the ocean.

"Is this for us?" I asked, hoping Kade prepared it for us.

He nodded, so I took a seat on the blanket watching the waves. Kade sat next to me, his arm around my shoulder. It was so romantic and breathtaking.

I thought if I should ask him to be my boyfriend or if it would be to early for that. Besides I was already the one, starting this whole thing this morning, so it was his turn to do that.

After a few hours of sitting there, talking and laughing, he got up, a rose in his hand. Wherever he hid it the whole time. 

"I know, we only met a few days ago, and the start wasn't as smooth as I hoped it would be, but I would like to know if you want to be my girlfriend?" Kade asked, holding the rose towards me, smiling nervously.

I got up as well, taking the rose.

"I would love to be your girlfriend." I said smiling, pulling him in for another kiss.

And still I couldn't believe how happy he made me, a few days after meeting him.

So this is basically the end of the story. Despite that there will be a short bonus chapter.
