The Relationship Prank - Kade Speiser FF (w/ Chessa)

Esther's POV

I couldn't believe what I just heard. As soon as I tell Chance I might be a bit interested in Kade, he tries to set me up with him? While I'm still stuck in this prank?! He's so dead, I swear to god!

"Chance, fucking, Sutton!" I screamed while running upstairs. "You can't run from me!"

As soon as I opened the door to their room Jake's camera was like 4 inches (10 cm) away from my face. I backed up a little realising that he's probably filming his vlog for tomorrow and the first thing the viewers will see off me, is screaming after Chance and dashing into their room like a fury.

I looked confused to Chance, when he came up to me, trying to keep the prank going.

"Hey honey pie, you're looking for me?" He asked with a smirk after kissing me.

"Ehm, yeah but we shouldn't talk about it in front of the camera, bubbly boo" I said, while awkwardly smiling at the camera. Chance looked at me with a you-seriously-just-called-me-that expression on his face.

Jake turns the camera back to his face.

"If you didn't know, Esther and Chance are a couple, but it seems like there's some trouble in paradise." He said, laughing.

Thankfully, he left, but I didn't want to talk to Chance about the Kade-Thing in front of Anthony and of course not in front of Ivan and Emilio, because they should still believe we're a couple.

I decided to leave the room. Whilst closing the door I gave him a death stare and went to Tessa's and my room.

I went to the wardrobe grabbing something to wear for the day. I decided to wear blue Jeans with a few holes in it, a red and black flannel shirt with a black top underneath and some basic boots.

Meanwhile Tessa left the bathroom. I could see that she still wasn't. Of course she wasn't I was still around. Maybe I should tell her that it's just a prank, so she feels better, of course I'm not going to tell Chance and Anthony. I gathered all my courage and took a step towards her when I was dressed.

"Tessa, do you have a minute. I would like to tell you something." I said nervously, playing with the tail of my flannel. 

She was doing her make up, looked up confused and just nodded. I took a seat on the edge of her bed.

"So, I noticed that you're interested in Chance", wow, I'm so sensitive like a bull in a china shop, I said to myself while giving me a face palm on the inside.

Tessa's eye's widened. "WHAT?! No-o, what a-are you talki-ing about? I me-ean he's your boyfriend." She managed to say.

"Yeah, but you can have him." Why am I not better at these talks??  "I mean, he's not my boyfriend."

Tessa looked confused, relieved and like she's nearly crying at the same time.

"So you guys broke up already?" she asked, trying to not look too happy about it.

"No.."

She looked confused again.

"We never were together. I mean we were a few years ago, but we remained friends afterwards, and this is just a prank Chance and Anthony wanted to pull on everyone and I thought it might be funny, but seeing you like that isn't funny at all. But you have to promise not to tell anyone what I just said, otherwise they are probably going to kill me. And you can't have Chance right away because the pranks still on, but afterwards you can try your best." I talked as fast as I could because I still felt so bad for her and wanted to get it all out as quick as possible.

"So you are not interested in him at all?" she asked smiling.

"I'm interested in him as a best friend, but that's all. Aren't you mad at me?"

"Mad would be the wrong word, but I'm really happy you told me. Was it so obvious I like him and does he know?" she asked bubbly.

"What, nooo." I lied because she would probably be embarrassed, when she knew he knew and of course I'm not going to tell her he likes her back.

I smiled awkwardly and decided to end the conversation there.

"So, I have to go and edit a video for Chance and Anthony, because they don't have time for it right now. So see you later, and please don't tell anyone." I said while leaving the room.

"I won't and thank you." Tessa smiled back.

I could feel how the burden I was carrying around with me was gone, and it felt so good that Tessa was happy again.

I went downstairs to the office, when I saw nobody was inside. I felt relieved again, because I didn't really want to run into Kade, since it probably would end weird again.

I noticed the computer with a sticky note on it reading: Esther, you can edit here. I prepared everything for you. xx Chance

I took a seat and started editing.

Chance's POV

I left our room to go downstairs, because Anthony, Jake and I wanted to go to the shopping centre. I noticed Kade, who was coming up to me.

"Hey, what's up bro?" I asked.

"Can we talk for a moment in private?" He asked nervously.

"Yeah, sure.", I was a bit confused but just followed him to the kitchen. Nobody beside us was there.

"So, what's going on?"

"It's about Esther.." he started, my eyes widening, curious what he was going to say.

"I'm going to avoid her for the next days or weeks, because I feel like I might be falling for her and I respect your guys relationship and I just don't feel good around you, when you're together." he said, waiting for my reaction.

I should tell him it's just a prank otherwise our friendship could be affected.

"Maybe you should just ask her if she would like to spend some time with you and we see how it goes." I suggested.

Kade looked like he was going to faint.

"But what about your relationship??"

"Well, we didn't start dating again. We just wanted to annoy the other people as a prank, but it doesn't seem like it is working out as planned. We are still continuing the prank, but you don't have to avoid her." I smiled at him. "Oh, and please don't tell anyone it's a prank, not even Esther."

"Yeah, of course not! Thank you, so you don't care if I would ask her out?"

"No, it's fine." Hopefully he wouldn't ask if she likes him too, because I couldn't tell him but he wouldn't believe me if I, as the best friend wouldn't know that. Thankfully he went back to the office.

I heard Jake calling my name, so I went outside because we finally wanted to go the shopping centre.

So Tessa and Kade know, but Chance and Esther have no idea their crushes also like them and know they're single. That could get really interesting!
