O3 : Chapter 3

: Justin's Point Of View :

"This," Dakota started,crossing her arms as the sun blared down on us,"Is -"

Ryan and Chaz immediately jumped up from the pool,simultaneously taking either sides of Dakota's arms and taking her into the pool.

"Dakota!" I shouted,standing up from where I was sitting and rushed over to the pool,instantly jumping in.

I found her caught in Ryan and Chaz's grasp as I took her hand,yanking her up for air.She instantly was in my arms,shaking.

"It's s-so cold" She stuttered,quietly

I swam towards the concrete,letting her get on and bring her legs up as the sun burned on both of us.I jumped up,doing the same and shivered.

"Whoo!" Ryan yelled as him and Chaz surfaced

"I'm going inside" Dakota muttered,instantly out of her chair and walking in.

"Dakota.." I tried,reaching for her hand but she was already halfway to the door

Once she entered inside,I sighed and turned around again,putting my hand to my forehead.

"Did you see the look on her face?It was like-" Chaz said,laughing but I cut him off

"You two are idiots!You could've killed her!" I bursted,out of my seat

"Woah,Justin calm down" Ryan said,putting his hands up in surrender

"Yeah,she can swim right?" Chaz asked,chuckling

"No" I snapped,"You idiots do remember why,right?"

They cleared there throats,looking down at the water as I shook my head,walking inside.As I slammed the door,quite loudly,and ran up the stairs,skipping some,as I reached Dakota's room.

Once I reached it and placed my hand on the doorknob,I spoke.

"Dakota,are you alright?" I asked,knocking the door lightly

Nothing.I decided to open the door instead,opening it silently as I saw Dakota curled up in her bed,new clothes on,her eyes closed and her breathing back to normal.

My lips curved to a small smile as I walked over to her,pulling the covers up slowly and suddenly,leaned down and kissed her forehead.

She stirred but didn't wake up as all I did was go out and close the door,walking to my room and dried off.

I threw my clothes to the side and changed into some new ones,walking out to the balcony.I sighed,a billion things running through my mind.

Ryan and Chaz were fighting below me as I shook my head,laying my arms on the railing.

"Justin?" 

"Yeah,ma?" I mumbled

"Everything alright?You seem down" She asked,walking over to me

"I'm alright" I said,quietly

"You sure?" She asked

I sighed and then finally came through with it,"Ryan and Chaz . . . they almost drowned Dakota"

"They what?" She said,loudly,facing me

I nodded,"They forgot she couldn't swim I guess"

"Is Dakota alright?" She questioned,about to walk out again 

"She's fine,just sleeping" I said,leaning forward as I looked below me

"Well,honey" She said,"I don't know what to say about this,do you want Ryan and Chaz to go home?"

"Yeah,I kinda want to be alone now" I mumbled

"Ok,I'll go tell them,if you need me,I'll be at the studio" She said,walking out

I nodded,walking to my bed and layed down.The birds chirped outside and the ocean wave was crashing here once in a while as I dozed off peacefully.

"Justin!"

I gasped,shooting up.

"Oh god,what were you dreaming about?" 

It was Dakota's voice but all I saw was a blur first and my eyes slowly closing again.

"No,Justin,please don't do that again!" Dakota screamed but it was really faint as I laid down again,"Justin!"

I managed to stay awake just the slightest as Dakota kept shaking me,tears filling her small eyes from my view.Then I closed my eyes shut and opened them,seeing Dakota come into sight.

She had her arms wrapped tightly around me,hugging me as I moaned and sat up.

"What happened?" I mumbled

"I don't know" She shouted,"First you were sleeping peacefully and then I look over and see you sweating and shaking,are you sick?Do you want me to call your mom?" 

I shook my head,laying back down again as she sighed and spoke in her normal tone again.

"Are you ok?" She questioned

I nodded,feeling her pull the covers up again to my chin.

"Don't move,I have to call your mom" She said,getting up

"No" I whispered,taking her hand as she slowly sat back down,"Please stay"

She nodded slowly,suddenly laying down next to me as I,somehow,managed to slip my arm around her waist.I could see a blush creeping on her cheek as she rolled over so her back was facing me but I knew she was thinking about something since her breathing was still pacing.

"Don't worry about me,you can just go to bed" I said,chuckling lightly as I placed a hand on her shoulder as she calmed down and I could feel her closing her eyes.

I smiled,wrapping my arms around her tiny waist as I fell asleep again,hoping the event that occured didn't happen again because this was perfect.Absolutely perfect.
