18 : Chapter 18

: Dakota's Point Of View :

"Help!" I screamed,banging on the door

This felt like one of my scary dreams again,I just want to wake up but right now,I know I am definitely not asleep.

"Please!Justin!Someone!" I cried

All I did was kept banging and screaming as I hoped someone would hear.But when I finally stopped and gave up,I just took a few steps back,covered my mouth and silently sobbed,leaning my head down.

I know I am really trapped now,I have no idea where I am and I dont even know if I can make it out of here to see.This is too much,one minute I'm on the beach,Justin has me on his shoulders while he spins and than I just get knocked out with Justin on the ground next to me.

I still smell and saw the faint blood stain on the ground from where Justin was.Yep,Justin.I was now on the ground,waiting patiently for someone or something.

After an hour passed,I fell asleep right when I thought I heard a small creak on the staircase...

"Dakota?"

I didn't move nor open my eyes,all I did was listen to the voice.

"Dakota,please open your eyes,it's me" Justin had begged

I obeyed and slowly opened them,hoping to see his angelic face.When my vision steadied,I saw there was blood on his face as I sighed,sitting up and hugging him.

It felt really good to feel his touch again,made me feel safe but right now,I can feel his heart pounding in his chest and on my shoulder.

"It's ok,I'm ok,calm down" I said,softly

He gulped,nodding as he took my arm gently and lead me up the staircase.I looked around,hoping no one was home.From the looks of it,it looked like Justin got beat up which made me want to cry so badly and hurt whoever did it to him.

As we headed up the stairs,I noticed Justin had let go of my arm and was slowly moving up the stairs so he wouldn't make a sound.I gulped,feeling a strange sensation someone was coming behind us so I quickly ran to Justin's side , avoiding the creaks easily as I grabbed hold of his hand and held it tightly.

"Don't be scared,I'm here" He assured me , giving me a small smile

As we reached the door,my ankle suddenly was yanked by something and a crash was heard downstairs.

The thing on my ankle was thin,like a wire or string.And the crash must've been a gasoline can or some chemical substance because the metal was getting burning hot and I yelped,instantly on my knees as I foiled with the wire.

I looked up to see Justin trying to help as he kept looking to see if the fire would come towards me.

When it was about a foot away,I screamed and tried getting the metal off so badly that there were cut and burn lines from it on my ankle.

"Justin!"

The fire reached around the metal,swirling up my leg as I tried patting it out , my eyes blurry now and my body feeling weaker.

When Justin manages to put the fire out,I pass out from the burn on my ankle and land into his arms somehow,smoke filling my nose.

My eyes fluttered open, seeing Justin holding me tightly in his arms,looking around for an exit.

As he noticed I was conscious , he had brought me to a dry wooden board that fell from the roof and quickly told me to climb it.

I did as told,limping barely from the burn on my ankle as he came after but another board falling on top of the opening , causing it to burst into flames.

"No! Justin!" I screamed,my voice getting rough

: Justin's Point Of View :

"Dakota!" I screamed

I quickly climbed back down,"Damn it" I muttered,running through the remains of the upstairs / attic. When I reached the downstairs, the stairs had collapsed and I had to jump 6 feet just to reach the ground almost.

I could still hear Dakota on the roof and my heart pounding loudly in my chest as I saw a clearing,rushing towards it as I slid on my knees , another flaming wood falling on top of the opening after I made it out.

I landed face down on the ground , coughing up ashes and smoke as I blinked a couple times,seeing nothing for a minute but than hearing ambulances and sirens coming from a distance and cars pulling up.

When I looked up on the roof , the fire was coming out of the opening Dakota escaped from and had cornered her to the very edge of the railing.

She screamed , tripping over the railing and clutching onto the edge.

"Dakota,hang on!"

I wanted to do something instead of yell.So I sprinted to where she was and started to climb up the side of the house , which was very difficult, but the gutters helped.

When I reached her,she grabbed hold of my hand before the fire could and accidentally made me lose my grip,letting us fall to the ground.

// Hospital //

Beep ..... Beep .... Beep

The beeping was slow,but just when I woke up,it started speeding up 5x more and I started to shake.

What's happening?

: Dakota's Point Of View :

Beep ......... Beep .......... Beep

As I regained conscious and heard the slow beeping , it started to race 10x more and my eyes popped open,my vision white and my body shaking rapidly.

"Blue team to room C4 , blue team to room C4,Red team to room C6,Red team to room C6"

Which room was I in and which team was worser?

When I heard a bunch of shouting and things crashing , I knew I must be the one in room C6 and the red team was the worse one.

My arm was injected with needles but I didn't feel must pain till I stopped shaking.My vision suddenly stopped and regained its sight very slowly.

I gasped for air,my chest rising up and falling to the bed again as I looked around,seeing everyone sigh in relief and assuring me everything was fine.

A old man doctor who looked around his early 60's with grey hair gave me a small smile and wiped the sweat from his forehead away , handing me a glass of water but I just pushed it back towards him , letting him drink it since he looked nervous.

But he insisted I'd have it while he gets another glass for himself which I nodded.

I don't know what had happened but the only thing I cared about now is where Justin was and if he was alive or not.

A/N: OMG MY FINGERS ARE GETTING BLISTERS! I just wrote this whole chapter in like 30 minutes! My idea came from my Halloween / Movie scenes xD And also , ooh , I have a new crush! ^.^ We like messing with each other and he has picked me up like twice and let me wear his jacket and all that stuff but he has a gf so xD It's like a brother/sister relationship ! xx Vote Comment Fan ❤
