The Queens

(Baby crying) Laurel was lying on her couch with a book opened in her face, she was asleep. Then Oliver enters the house, "Laurel?" He asks, he hears the baby crying so he walks towards him, "hey buddy, why are you crying?" He asks talking in a sweet voice, the baby kept crying. Oliver took the baby in his arms "shh shh it's okay" he said as he patted his back, he kept doing it until the baby fell asleep, he placed the baby in his crib and covered him with the sheets. He then walked towards Laurel, he removed the book from her face and saw Laurel asleep but with a concentrated look on her face. Oliver smirked, he then took her in his arms and took her to their bed, he placed her in the bed and covered her up, he gave her a kiss in the forehead and then he went to the couch to watch some tv.

It had been a while since Laurel had fallen asleep so she woke up, she got up quickly and in panic "the baby!" She said as she sat up, Oliver laughed, "he is asleep" he said, then Laurel took a deep breath. "Since when have you been here Ollie?" She asks, "not for much, I mean I did took you and the baby to your beds and watched you sleep and watched some tv" he said sitting down next to Laurel and tucking Laurel's hair behind her ear, "I'm sorry Ollie, I'm a terrible mother" she said, "no you're not" said Oliver, "Oliver I fell asleep instead of watching him and staying with him" she said, "you're just tired, Laurel the baby has given you a lot of work, you haven't rest for a while" he said stroking her hair, Laurel looked at him with a tired expression, "I am tired" she said, she then placed her head on his shoulder and hugged him, Oliver kissed her in the head, "were gonna get through this, don't worry" he said, she smiled. Then there was a knock on the door, "I'll get it" said Laurel, she walked towards the door and opened it, "Sara?" Said Laurel excited, "hey sis" answered Sara raising her arms ready to hug Laurel, Laurel hugged her, "oh my God what are you doing here?" Asked Laurel still hugging Sara, "well I just got back and I really wanted to see you" she answered, Laurel smiled then they pulled away and Oliver walked towards them, "hey Ollie" said Sara, "hey Sara!" He answered they hugged, then Sara pulled away, "wait, why are you with Laurel in her house?" Asked Sara pointing at Oliver, "Sara we have some news to tell you" said Laurel, "what is it?" "Oliver and I got married" answered Laurel, Sara gasped "oh my God really?" Asked Sara looking at Oliver, Oliver nodded, "congratulations!" She said, "thank you" said Laurel, then they hugged again, Oliver closed the door behind them and walked towards the baby who was already awake too, Laurel and Sara were still hugging until Oliver walked towards them holding the baby, "Sara I want you to meet your nephew" said Oliver, Sara pulled away from the hug and placed her hands in her mouth, Laurel smiled, "you had a baby?" She asked, Laurel nodded, "Oh my God, he is so cute" said Sara walking to wards the baby, Oliver gave her the baby. "Oh, ooooh he is so cute! Look at his big beautiful blue eyes, and Laurel he has your nose, and he has chubby hands" said Sara looking at the baby, both Oliver and Laurel smiled and then Oliver placed his hand on her waist and pulled her close, Laurel kissed him in the cheek, "what is his name?" Asked Sara, "Tommy" said Laurel, "more like Thomas but we call him Tommy" said Oliver, "well Tommy I can tell you that you are the most handsome young man I have ever seen" said Sara talking to the baby. "I told dad I was gonna be here, he told me that he might drop by" said Sara talking to Laurel, "that's great" she said, "why don't we invite everyone and order some food" said Oliver, "yeah that'd be fun" said Laurel.

"So I ordered pizza, I hope that's Ok" said Oliver, "yeah that's good" said Laurel leaning in the edge of the balcony, "are you Ok?" Asked Oliver, "yeah I'm fine, why do you ask?" Said Laurel, "it's just that you're out here thinking and looking at the street, it just feels like you are hiding something" said Oliver, Laurel smiled and turned to look at him, "I am hiding something, but it's nothing bad and you'll know soon" said Laurel placing her arms around Oliver, Oliver smiled at her, "I love you" he said, "I love you too" she answered then the bell rang and Sara ran to open it, from the door came in Thea, John, Felicity, Quentin and Roy, "hey dad!" Said Sara hugging her dad, "hey baby" said Quentin, "hey everyone" said Oliver, "hey!" Answered Thea, "Hey" said John "hey" said Felicity, Laurel laughed, "don't you think you are saying hey to many times?" She said teasingly, "yep, I was thinking the same thing" said Roy, they both laugh, "so where is my nephew?" Asked Thea, "he is in the room, I will go get him" said Laurel, then Laurel came out holding the baby, everyone looked at the baby and smiled, "Oh my God, I can't get enough of him" said Felicity, "I know right he is so cute" said Thea, then Laurel gave the baby to Thea. Quentin, Sara, Felicity and Roy were around Thea looking at the baby and making funny faces trying to make the baby laugh but just like all the other tries, they never worked. After trying and trying and not succeeding they gave up. "You know the good thing about him? He will always win in a competition about being serious" said Thea, they all sat down in the living room and ate pizza, "Ollie! Why doesn't he laugh" asked Laurel, "it's okay, he will laugh soon" said Oliver, the baby got hungry so Laurel fed him, "Laurel come eat" said Oliver, "I can't, I need to hold him like this" said Laurel holding the baby, "Oh, I will do it for you" said Thea, "are you sure?" Asked Laurel, "yes, I am done eating and I can tell you I am good with babies" said Thea, "okay thanks" said Laurel giving Thea the baby, "you do know that he can vomit right?" Said John talking to Thea, Thea looked at him surprised "are they supposed to vomit" she asked, "well there is a chance they do" said John, "well he won't vomit me because he is a good boy and this shirt costed a lot of money and it is a one of a kind shirt" said Thea, "all I am saying is-".   "Dig, I am gentle with babies, I take good care of them they won't pay me back by vomiting" said Thea, and before she could even speak the baby vomited on her, Thea gasped. Everyone saw this and they couldn't help but laugh, the room filled with laughter as they all saw Thea's reaction, the baby kept starring at them, then Oliver let out a loud laugh, the baby turned to look at his father and smiled, then the most beautiful sound was heard, the baby was laughing. "Oh my God!" Said Laurel as she heard it, "oh, he is laughing" said Felicity with a smile on her face, Thea couldn't help but smile as she heard the beautiful sound the baby produced, "listen to that Ollie" said Laurel, Oliver took Laurel and gave her a hug, "that is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard" said Oliver, "I know" said Laurel.

It had been a while and they had all left the house, Oliver was cleaning up when he saw Laurel sitting in the couch holding their baby, "so what was that thing you were hiding?" He asked, he walked toward her and started to rub her shoulders making a massage, Laurel rested her head in his arms, "Laurel?" He asked, "yeah right, I just wanted to tell you, I am gonna hyphen my name" she said, "really? I thought that you were not going to change it, I thought you didn't want to, you know you didn't want to be a Queen" said Oliver, "well, you see I was thinking today about how much I love you, and how much I love my family, I love Tommy, I love everything, right now I can't remember why I didn't  want to hyphen my name, all I want is to be your Queen, I want to be a Queen, I want our family to be the Queens, I love it!" She said, Oliver smiled and leaned to kiss her, "I want us to be the Queens too" he said, Laurel laughed and kissed him, "I think Tommy is going to be bullied because of his last name" said Laurel jokingly, Oliver laughed, "I will make sure to kick their ass" he said, "I love you Laurel Lance-Queen" he said, "I love you too" answered Laurel, "let's go tomorrow right away to change your name" said Oliver, "can't we wait until Christmas passes" said Laurel, "why?" He asked, "our Christmas card is going to say from The Queens" she said, "but I thought you wanted it to be the Queens" said Oliver, Laurel laughed, "I am joking, of course I want it to be  The Queens"
