(Jungkook's POV)

That slipped out of my mouth

She might think I'm weirder than her whole family now. Aish Jungkook, I smacked my head. "Yah! Why'd you do that to yourself? Are you going crazy or what?" Arin said from behind me, "anyways, let's go get food for the brat now"

We walked to the nearest 7/11 near us and bought chips. "I think I'll get ramen too." Arin said picking the cheese ramen bowl up from the shelf. "Can I get ramen too?" I asked. "Yeah sure." She gave me permission to buy ramen.

We walked to the counter with three family size chips, three bowls of ramen, and a 2L bottle of soda. "Are you seriously going to pay for all this?" I asked Arin while she put down all the stuff on the counter. "Yeah, of course I would." She said.

"Aigo, lets pay half and half. I owe you anyways."

"Wae?" She turned to me, "since when did you owe me and for what?"

"It's for welcoming me properly here, and plus, you're my only friend around here." I smiled at her and put the money on top of her money.

"Aish, gumawo Jungkook!" she bowed. "It's alright."

I took the plastic bags off the counter and carried them on our way back.

*•*•*•*

Arin was surprised because of Jungkook's kindness, or maybe she just didn't have a close guy friend like this before? She doesn't know, all she knows is that she's happy to be quite close to Jungkook.

While the two headed to the convenience store, Umji was sitting quietly in the house when she suddenly heard a sound from Arin's room.

(Umji's POV)

I heard a loud thud from my sisters room, it sounded like a window opening quickly. I ran to my sisters room to check what that sound was about. But I didn't see anything, except her sliding glass window was wide open and a while ago it wasn't. I looked outside the window to check if there was anyone there but there wasn't, "Is the wind that strong out there?" I figured while I closed the window and saw a huge crack across the glass. My eyes widened, "did it open that hard?!"

"Yah! What's the shouting about?" Arin said and ran to me.

(Arin's POV)

"Yah! What's the shouting about?" I said and rushed into my room where my sister was. "Woah, where did that come from?" Jungkook pointed at the huge crack across my glass window. I was puzzled because I knew I kept this window closed, maybe someone accidentally threw a rock at my window?

"Unnie, I heard something loud and I checked it. And your window was open.. then when I close your window I saw the crack." My sister explained. Why would my window open?

"But the wind isn't strong. How did it open?" Jungkook said while scratching the back of his head. "Whatever, that's alright. Nothing got taken anyways. Let's go eat" I went back out into the kitchen and brought out the stuff from the paper bags. "Umji, I got you ramen. Would you want me to cook it for you now or what?"

"Ye, cook it for me now please."

"Arasseo. Umji, call appa to ask him what time they can pick you up."

"Nae"

"Arin, I'll help you with that" Jungkook picked up the side bottle and put it into my fridge. "Gumawo, can you boil some water please?"

Jungkook brought out a pot from the cupboard and filled it with water. Then he stunned the stove on. "Unnie, appa said he'll pick me up at around 6"

"Arasseo, can you put ice into some glass and pour the soda in it please." I ordered my sister.

The ramen was cooked and we were already in front of the TV. We watched movies until we heard the buzzer and a beep from a car horn outside. "Ah Arin Unnie, I think that's appa already."

I looked at my phone's clock and it was already 6:45.

"Oh yeah, wait here Jungkook. I'll just bring my sister downstairs and say hello to my father. Arasseo?"

"Nae" he replied still looking at the TV. "Okay" I help onto my sisters shoulders and walked down with her.

"Arin-ssi!" My mom hugged me, "bogo shipda! How has it been?"

"I've been alright eomma," I replied. "Unnie found a new friend." My sister said. I elbowed her then, my mom might over react to this. "Ah jinja? What's her name?"

"It's a he" my sister said. Of course she had to.

"Jungkook, eomma." I replied. "Ah, arasseo. Have fun at school tomorrow honey, do well!" My mom kissed my forehead and went into the car.

My father then hugged me, "Arin-ssi, be careful with boys okay? Saranghae-iyo." My dad got into the car

"Anneyong!" I waved at the car that drives away. "Aigo, I forgot Jungkook was still there."

I went back up and saw Jungkook still watching the movie we were watching earlier, "yah, Jungkook" I said when I walked in my house. "We still have school tomorrow, you should get some rest."

"Ani, it's alright. Are you hungry?" He asked me, "I can cook for us there in my house. I'm good at cooking!"

Do I say no or what, I am getting pretty hungry. "Nae, only if it's okay with you."

"Why would I invite you if it wasn't okay?" He laughed and patted my head, "pabo Arin."

"Aish, stop calling me a pabo. Fine I'll eat with you." We went out of my apartment and into Jungkook's.

Honestly, for a young man living all alone, Jungkook's apartment was neat. I could even say neater than me.

"If you're wondering why everything is so organized, I'm sensitive over those stuff" he explained

"You mean you have OCD?" I teased, "whatever, what're you going to cook oppa?"

"Aish, don't call me oppa. I'll grill some beef and I'll make spicy soup. I have kimchi also."

Ah, so he does know how to cook. "Ah, okay. Let's just see if you're really good at cooking."

He brought out a pan wherein he can grill the beef on, "watch me"

We laughed and I did watch him cook. He was actually pretty good at cooking. "Arin can you set up the table."

I did so and he settled everything on the table. "Gumawo Jungkook!" I said and we both dug in.

After the meal we talked a little more and I headed home
