The Haunted Palace

Chapter 13

King Foster and Queen Felicia began greeting Mr. John and Mrs May. David came running towards Taylor and gave her a huge hug. Taylor came out of her bubble and gave David a hug back, but immediately her eyes dashed towards the suitcase.

After a few minutes queen Felicia said,  "Let me just organise for something to eat! " as she spoke she walked towards the kitchen.

"By that time" said aunt May, let me open the suitcase I've brought something for you'll."

As Mrs. May opened the suitcase Taylor kept staring at it. The lock had opened, as Mrs. May opened the suitcase and distributed the gifts. Everybody was happy.

Soon after that the luggage was taken to the guest room. Aunt May walked towards the room and sat on the bed, suddenly she remembered her wallet was in the suitcase. She went towards the suitcase, she then lifted it up and put it on the table. She unlocked the lock and put her hands on the zip of her suitcase.

When Mrs May was opening the zip of her suitcase,  Taylor was walking up to her room......
Suddenly she heard a horrific scream from the guest room. Taylor began to run towards the room as she seen her aunt come running out of the room.

Everybody else too came running towards the room. Mrs May was sweating as she trembled with fear.
Mr. John asked her, "May what's the matter?  What happened? Why are you so scared?"

Mrs. May replied, "John I seen something in that suitcase,  it was horrible.."

On hearing this Mr. John said, "just calm down dear,  sit..... Here have some water, just relax and tell us what happened."

"I. . . I. . .I seen a skeleton covered in blood inside our suitcase, John please take it out of there! " saying this Mrs May began crying.

As Mr John went to the bag to see what was in it,  King Richard followed him too. They both went towards the suitcase and flipped open the flap of the suitcase in a  'swish'.

But to their surprise there was nothing in the suitcase!
