i was about to enter our room when someone called out my name.

"psst. jimmy." a female voice called out.

i froze with my hand on the door knob, as i slowly turned around in horror.

the female let out a laugh. "bro you look like you've seen a ghost."

with a heavy sigh, i laughed. "mariangela. you scared the hell out of me."

mariangela laughed as she motioned her fingers. "come here. we need to talk."

the bar's pretty quite. there are only a few drinking.

"i want to thank you jimmy." mariangela smiled as she gave me a shot glass of vodka.

i took the vodka and took it in one gulp. "for what?"

i seriously need to drink at this moment.

mariangela laughed as she slammed her right hand on top the table. "teka. nakakapagod mag english jusme. hahaha." she laughed.

i laughed along as i nodded my head. "yeah. but i can speak tagalog if you want." i suggested.

"no its okay. kung comfortable ka sa english mag english ka nalang." she smiled. "pareho kayo ni kuya tony mga englishero. hahaha." she added laughing.

hearing his name, it makes me wanna miss him more.

i faked a laugh and smiled. "yeah you're right."

"ah by the way, gusto ko kasing magpasalamat sayo." she smiled before taking a shot.

my eyebrows furrowed. "for what?"

"kung mapapansin mo, ang laki ng naimprove ni tony sa social skills niya--- wow social skills hahaha. pero seryoso, ang daming pinagbago ni kuya." she spoke, smiling.

"and what does it have to do with me?" i asked, raising an eyebrow.

"well, ever since na naging magkaibigan kayo ni kuya, hindi na siya gaanong masungit. dati kasi 24/7 bad mood yan. tapos eto pa. dati, hindi yan mahilig mag mall dahil masyadong matao. and here's the thing. hindi ko pa nakitang tumawa si kuya ng wagas. ever. pero the moment na nakita ko kayo ni kuya na nagtatawanan sa school, grabe. ang gwapo ni kuya pag tumawa." she sighed at the last sentence.

she's right. gwapo si tony pag tumatawa. ang cute cute kaya.

"that's why i have to thank you." mariangela smiled. "my brother changed a lot because of you." she smiled.
