Hensley PoV

i rushed into the diner, hoping my boss wouldnt seen me easing my way on into the door driving 15 minutes late.

I hurried up to the counter, and clocked myself into the computer.

Katie:Late again i see(laughs)

Hensley:I couldnt get harley to sleep, and i had to wait for my step dad to get home to watch her.(laughing)

Katie:well your lucky boss stepped out to smoke in the back, unless that would've been your butt getting cussed out again(laughs)

Katie was one of the first people i met when i started working at the diner, Dine In.

Working here everyday is my day to day job to keep food on the table for harley, and clothes on her back.

Bryson sends me about 10 thousand a month for harley but i send it right back.

i might keep 100 of it just to buy her new clothes, but thats it.

Bryson mainly gives me the money because he knows i need it.

or he thinks i do.

But i try to stay as much independent as i can.

I put my apron on, and grabbed my note pad.

I walked up to a table group of girls, around my age.

Hensley:Hi my name is hensley, what can i get for you all today??

As i looked at them, waiting to take each of their orders i saw them looking up at the tv we had on the wall in the diner.

i saw them screaming, and singing a song.

and the song sounded so familiar.

it wasnt long till the whole diner started singing, and i looked at the Tv to see bryson's music video for "Don't" playing.

It was the MTV countdown, and it always comes on on the Tv around this time.

i saw in the corner of the screen it said #1, so that meant bryson song was #1 on the MTV countdown.

when i was looking at the video, i saw the girl all on bryson.

I just rolled my eyes.

I rolled my eyes at the girls, since they want paying attention to me and headed back over to the counter where Katie was.
