Hensley PoV

I woke up to the bright sun shining in my face through the living room windows.

i looked next to me to see i was laying on top of bryson, laid across the living room couch.

but bryson was still sleeping.

i smiled as i saw how cute he slept.

i got up, slowly trying not to wake bryson up, and headed into the kitchen.

i decided i should make me and him breakfast.

it was thursday morning, and school was closed today and tomorrow .

so that meant Hayden had school, my mom and derek had work.

when i walked into the kitchen i jumped, seeing my mom and hayden in the kitchen.

my mom was fixing coffee, and hayden was at his high chair eating cereal.

i smiled at hayden walking into the kitchen, kissing his forehead.

i also gave my mom a huge hug.

Hattie:nice to see you awake(smirks) so you and bryson are a thing??

my mom looked at me like "spill the tea"

i just laughed.

i sat down at the island table.

Hensley:I don't know what we are.....i mean i guess were talking, because he always tells me he likes me, or were kissing, or doing other stuff like going out together but as far as my boyfriend?? i don't know

Hattie:well don't rush it is all im saying....hes different from the other boys i seen you around.....your always smiling, and blushing whenever you hear his name....he seems like he adores you, and i like that.....derek likes him to

Hensley:i like him to.....i just don't want him to rush into something he's not ready for

Hattie:baby trust me when i say no boy is rushing into something they don't want....thats one thing i didnt like about your father. We got married at 22. I had you when i was 19, and hayden when i was 33..... but because of you we got married thinking we had to....Your dad cuffed me, then cheated on me for almost our whole marriage....dont rush into a relationship that you know you not ready for....if you not ready to commit to one person, and one person only.....then thats not love....but if you only think about that person, and know thats the person for you, and no one else....that is love

i nodded knowing my mother was right.

she always knew what to say when it came to relationship advice, especially since she's been through it.

Hensley:mom....can i ask you something?

she nodded.

Hensley:bryson got kicked out his home, and stays in a motel....we have a guess bedroom, you think he can stay here??
