Normani/You
(A/N: If you know that song I love you so much! XD)
(Y/N) was invited over to a party but what she didn't know was that her ex is there. Even though they haven't seen each other for more than a year both still had feelings for one another and so drama begins.
Third Person's POV
(Y/N) hears the loud music blaring downstairs hating how her friend Hailee threw a party to the night that she was suppose to come up with a brilliant idea for the event tomorrow since her client was quite demanding about her doing exactly as the client imagined; grand, elegant but hip.
She kept thinking of ways to make the venue look fucking grand, elegant also hip and she hated how she was pressured to do this in just a week but it was quite impossible since every idea she has shown to her client was reject since it was too simple.
"(Y/N), if you stress out too much it wouldn't be good to your skin." Hailee said playfully but (Y/N) rolled her eyes at her party freak of a friend and she disheveled her hair in frustration as she threw all of the crumpled paper by the fully loaded trash. "I wouldn't stress so much if it wasn't for your party downstairs. Are you even allowed to throw a huge party?" She asked quite annoyed by the noise and vibrations that she could feel.
"I threw this party for you! You've been doing that fucking work for like 3 days straight. That jackass of a client doesn't even consider your ideas!"
"Hails, it's my job I can't do anything about it. I have to do this. And if this party is for me great... Send those entire people home."
Hailee laughed thinking her distressed friend was joking but she soon stopped seeing her friend had her arms crossed and she hated how (Y/N) was so controlling and yet right at the same time on any situation.
"I'll send them home. On, one condition."
"Not this again, Hails. I have no—"
"Just put on that sexy blue dress of yours and get a drink just talk to some people that you know. If you don't like it then I'll send everyone home. I promise."
(Y/N) paused for a short moment not trusting Hailee's deal since she was too unpredictable as she had a lot of tricks up her sleeve that she could use to get what she wants. She was about to say 'no' but Hailee pulled off the puppy dog eyes that (Y/N) can't resist and she groaned in annoyance hating how Hailee always wins because of her weakness.
"Fine, stick with the deal Hailee if you throw another one of these parties. I will not hesitate to kick your cute butt back to your home so I could have my place all to myself again."
Hailee rolled her eyes at her friend then pulled her cerulean dress towards her friend as she nodded in approval as her friend soon tried it on and the young brunette did her hair and make-up with a smile on her face.
(Y/N) barely recognized herself after the transformation was done, she knew Hailee was good but not a magician to make her look this good with make-up and such. "Don't you dare ruin my masterpiece not unless you find some cutie."
"Hails, I'm not looking for some entertainment with wasted people whom are shallow minded."
(Y/N) wore the black mid-high heels that the brunette handed her and she watched Hailee go back out to the party. She wasn't social unlike Hailee who had tons of friends while she only had very little that she could even talk to and hang out with.
She made her way to the living room after closing her room and she noticed how it was filled with celebrities. She wasn't all that surprised as she clicked her heels on the wooden floor and she grabbed herself some Scotch. She stayed by the couch ignoring some people who Hailee knows since she was quite shy and awkward to meet new people.
