Ally/You

Third Person's POV

The small Latina walked in Dairy Queen and sees her best friend and the girl she likes happily eating ice cream together while talking to each other as they had goofy smiles on their faces. Ally puts up a fake smile and walked up to them.

"What a coincidence! I didn't know that you guys would be here!" Ally said faking surprise and looked down at the two seated couple. "Well, you should have." Normani placed her cup of ice cream on the table with a smile on her face and looked up at her friend as (Y/N) looked up at Ally with an awkward smile on her face. "You're the one who got us a dating calendar."

"Again. Thanks for getting us a dating calendar." The dark-skinned beauty said with an awkward smile on her face and Ally shrugged in reply. "This reminds me I can't do the amusement park on Sunday." (Y/N) said with a small sigh.

"Aww, but I wanna get the picture of you coming down together from the log flume. For you scrapbook." The Latina said with a small hand gesture and she pouted at the two. "But we don't have a scrapbook." (Y/N) said as confused as Normani and he kept holding her ice cream.

Ally let out a small laugh and placed her bag by the other side of them on the chair. "I beg to differ." She pulled out a nice handcrafted scrap book with visible bold letter of their name on the heart as she showed it to them. 'Normani and (Y/N) 4 ever'

"Hey, Ally. You wanna join us?" (Y/N) asked after placing her cup of ice cream down on the table and she looked at the small Latina with a small smile on her face.

"Oh, no, no, no. This is a date. Okay? You guys don't need me hanging around." Ally said picking up her bag then putting back the scrapbook inside her bag. "At least not until we all go bowling next Friday." She said with a smile towards the two couple who had stared at her awkwardly and Normani kind of found it quite odd at how she was acting towards them.

"Please check your dating calendars people." Ally said again with a small disappointment evident in her eyes and (Y/N) was sure she now felt awkward for her co-worker.

"Uh, Allycat? Are-Are you sure you don't wanna stay? I-I know how much you like Dairy Queen." Normani said making a small hand gesture towards her ice cream and Ally smiled awkwardly.

"I really do Dairy Queen. Like-"Ally had her arms crossed and she looked at (Y/N) who was busy eating her cup of ice cream while Normani obviously looked up at her problematic best friend "more than you could possibly imagine. I mean at first I hated it but lately I could just not get it out of my mind." (Y/N) looked up for a second to see Ally's face and went back to eating while looking at her ice cream.

"I just like it so much but I can't have it."

"Why not?" Normani asked thinking her friend was talking about the ice cream but it was really about (Y/N) and Ally made a small face with her eyebrows furrowed as she kept her pain inside.

"Because you have it."

"Uhh, you and Dairy Queen have fun." Ally made a short pause before walking again and she knew the mistake she just made being so caught up by the person she likes. "I mean (Y/N). I gotta go." The Latina said exiting quickly wanting to get out of the place to not feel awkward and she sighed softly.

The next day Ally walked up to her friend who quickly turned around after calling her and she had a smile on her face since she wanted to know what happen between her and (Y/N) yesterday.

"Hey, Mani. How was the movie after the Dairy Queen?"

"Oh, actually. We decided to go to that pottery painting instead." Normani said with a small hand gesture and she smiled at her. Ally's smile fell and she looked quite irritated. "What?" Normani's smile instantly disappeared hearing her best friend's tone and noticed how serious she was.
