"Auntie, I really appreciate the help but you know I can't accept this." (Y/N) said with a soft smile on her face, sliding the envelope back to the woman while they were sitting face to face. "Honey, you need it more than I ever could."

(Y/N) shook her head 'no' towards her boss and guardian. Margaret took her in when her parents died from a plane crash, their bodies were never found. She was just 7 when she lost her parents, but was clearly aware when the cops came into their home taking her, and older brother to child services at that same night. It was the first time that (Y/N) didn't cried that night, she overheard some employees gossip about their parents death at the crash. That night she spent time with her brother at his room, the siblings least expected Margaret to come and take them in from child services.

"Auntie Marge, you did so much for me and my brother. And if you paid for my student loan... " It was really too much that her guardian would do this much for her and her younger brother. "No more back talks, missy. I have to go now I need to pay someone a visit... Close up for me will you?"

(Y/N) could only nod in response after her aunt snatched her bag resting from the table after checking her phone. This made her smile remembering it was her aunt's poker night with her friends, she pushed herself up from the table before taking the envelope her aunt left for her. "Excuse me, miss?"

Her body tensed when she was called out, slowly turning her head to the side before spinning around halfway to face the person who called her. "Yes? We're actually closing for today."

"I need to speak with the owner of this bar." (Y/N) noticed the woman in front of her wasn't one of the people that came from town. The woman was dressed sharply, her gaze cold and serious. Holding no emotion of some sort as she was looking around the bar curiously.

"O-Oh, you just missed her."

"Is that so?" (Y/N) didn't exactly have anyone to help her with this particular situation. It was usually her and her aunt who worked the bar. She wished her aunt didn't have to leave her for bingo night, since the stranger seemed to tap her foot on the floor while checking her phone. "Very well then, I suppose I can talk to a co-owner?"

"That would be me," she stammered not even knowing what this dashing woman wanted with her aunt. "You?" The woman raised an eyebrow in surprise, before clearing her throat in a moment. "Do you have a place where we can talk?"

"Would the office be alright?" She asked before receiving a nod from the woman, following her lead as they went behind the bar to a door that lead stairs up to the office.

(Y/N) started to regret on not cleaning up her aunt's office, seeing the papers she asked her aunt to sign were all over the floor. She bent over to pick up some before organizing them on the desk. "Please take a seat."

She let the guest make herself comfortable by the chair in front of the desk, the second floor from the very bar was their home. The office was only away from the living room, with a wooden divider being in the middle. (Y/N) room was right beside her brother's, which was now empty while her aunt decided to occupy the couch, since she insisted they should each have their own rooms.

"I'm sorry do you want a drink?" She forgot to offer her a drink which she mentally scolded herself for. "I won't be here for so long, miss."

"It's (Y/N)."

"(Y/N), I'm here to represent my boss. She intends to buy your bar for a reasonable price." (Y/N) felt her own heartdrop since her aunt only knew how to manage the bar all her life. Running the bar is the only way for her aunt to pay their debts.

"Excuse me?"

"Of course, my boss wants you to take all the time you need. We'll prepare a contract with all of the demands you need from-"
