Ally/You

(Y/N) ran a small ranch and she worked on it for so many years but when the family ranch was on the point of bankrupt. She suddenly gets the bright idea of asking her old friend to help her out but then the letter was received by the daughter of the man who was going to by the very property (Y/N)'s family worked hard on.

Third Person's POV

"Mom, can't you tell him to give us a few more months?" (Y/N) asked her mother who was busy cutting up some freshly picked vegetable she just got from their garden and her mother felt her heartache too. She didn't want to sell the place but they had no more money left to keep the place, her husband spent all the money on his gambling addiction and ran off with his other woman leaving his family behind to suffer with debts.

(Y/N) sighed in frustration seeing her mother not work up a response on changing her mind about selling the family ranch that has been in the family for many generations and she had so many wonderful memories at the ranch with her mother and her late grandparents. "I'm going out." She said blandly and walked out of the very house to get some air.

She suddenly remembered her friend, her pen pal who said she was always available to give a lending hand to her on whatever she needs. She rushed to get in her room after thinking about it for a solid hour and she grabbed a paper then her pen. She got on her desk and started writing what she has in her mind, soon getting on stamping it then sealing it well after putting on the destination of the letter.

"Please, Karla. You're the only one who can help me how to figure this one out." She mumbled after putting the letter on their mailbox and wasn't hoping for a reply but hoping her friend would come personally to have an interest on buying the place, knowing her friend runs a flourished business company.

Meanwhile, Camila was too busy to even notice the letter and as she pushed her papers aside the letter dropped in her friend's bag. She knew that her smaller friend/roommate hated their apartment being a mess and she started to clean up, forgetting about the letter her pen pal/friend sent to her. "Jeez, Mila. I was only gone for 4 hours and the living room is already this messy?" Her small Latina friend exasperated and she grabbed her bag that was resting by the side of the glass coffee table.

"I'll clean it up, Als." She rasped out clearly having no rest at all because of her father wanting her to do the report for today and evaluate her if she's ready to take over on the business.

"Go get some rest, Mila. I talked to your father and he said you don't have to go to work today there was an emergency meeting that he had to attend to in Paris. He'll be gone in a week or so." She explained to her friend who was rushing and was completely worn out.

"Thanks, Ally. You're the best." She said with a soft yawn escaping her lips then walked to her room with her eyelids getting heavier, landing on the bed face first and Ally cleaned up but then hears her phone ring. She reached out to grab her phone only to grab a piece of paper, noticing it was addressed to Camila.

She took a peek to see if her roommate was awake but she wasn't and decided to open the letter since it had a note by the back 'Please read as soon as you get this'. She opened it and she mentally reminded herself to tell Camila as soon as she wakes up.

'Hey, Karla! You're probably busy but could you help me out? The family ranch is in trouble and I was wondering if you could come over and help me? I promise I'll repay you as soon as I know how to repay you in time. - (Y/N)'

Ally was quite curious not knowing her roommate's was talking to some girl who works by the ranch, thinking it was Camila's secret girlfriend and she wanted to meet her. She thought of waking the Cuban up but she knows the brunette hasn't been getting any sleep for the past 3 nights and she hoped Camila wouldn't be too pissed at her for making her own decision without consulting her. The letter is for the Cuban but she was interrupting and she hoped soon enough.
