James continued to be a bully to Snape, even in seventh year when he had "matured."

This is false.

Here is the quote STRAIGHT FROM THE BOOK.

"'Well,' said Lupin slowly, 'Snape was a special case. I mean, he never lost an opportunity to curse James, so you couldn't really expect him to take that lying down, could you?'"

There. JAMES ONLY HEXED SNAPE TO DEFEND HIMSELF, ONCE HE STOPPED HEXING OTHER STUDENTS. In fact, Snape was the one bullying James at that point.

And we know for a fact that Snape made dangerous curses, even life threatening, if you don't know the counter curse. Which, obviously, only Snape knew, since he created them in the first place. SO, if James hadn't defended himself, he might've been seriously injured, or even killed!

You can't just take quotes and twist them to mean what you want them to mean, hoping that no one will actually go and look in the book. Because, trust me, if it's saying something bad about a character I love, I WILL LOOK. I will search every single page of every single book if it takes that. Luckily, in this case, I knew exactly where it was- it just so happens that I've defended James from this misconception multiple times before.

So, next time you try to get in an argument, REMEMBER THIS. James wasn't bullying Snape in seventh year- it was exactly the other way around. Got it?

Snape "never missed an opportunity to curse James"- EVEN THOUGH JAMES SAVED HIS LIFE!!! Why is Snape not seen as a horrible person here?? Because CLEARLY, HE IS THE HORRIBLE ONE!!!

NOT JAMES!!!
