"Look here Phoebe if we're going to be living together we need to set some ground rules."
"Fine."
"Rule one I need to know where you're going and when you're coming back. Rule two if you're going to visit a friend I need their parent's number and there has to be an adult home. Rule three..."
"When is this rule thing gonna end?"
"This is the last rule. Rule three when I call you better answer your phone are we clear?"
"Yes dad." I said sarcastically.
"Good."
"Actually I have a problem with the rules."
"What is it?"
"I can't do part of rule one, rule two you can throw out the window all together, and I might be able to do rule three."
"Why?"
"Can't say."
"This is going to be difficult." he mumbled to himself.

(2 months later)
We were on break so Braxton decided to take me to the mall to go shopping for clothes. When he saw what kinda of clothes I had to wear he literally made me burn them. He also told me to refer to him as Braxton outside of school not Mr. Martino.
"I need to stop in here." I said pointing to a store.
"Why?" he asked.
"Maybe I need to buy a feminine product. Unless you wanna go get it for me."
"Say no more you go get it."
I walked into the store and walked into the isle. I stared at the shelf not sure what to do. I hadn't come into the store for what I usually would.
"Need help?" someone asked.
I turned and saw a girl about a year older than me.
"I remember when I needed someone to help me with this." she said smiling.
"Yea I do need help." I said.
"Lets see. This one, this one, and this one."
"There's one problem though. The person I'm here with doesn't know that I'm in here for this product. He thinks it's the other product."
"O. Well you buy it and I'll take it and meet you at the nearest bathroom. My name's Kailey by the way."
"Phoebe."
We walked to the cash register together. I paid for my stuff and the cashier gave me a dirty look. I let Kailey walk out first then I followed 10 seconds later.
"I thought you needed to buy something." Braxton said.
"I was wrong." I said. "I do need a bathroom though."
I walked to the nearest bathroom and met Kailey inside.
"Here you're gonna need to drink this." she said.
"I don't think I'll need it." I said.
"If you're gonna take all three you will."
I took the drink from her and drank it in one gulp. After that I went into a stall and did my business. When I was done I washed my hands and looked at Kailey.
"Can you look for me when they're done? I don't think I can bring myself to." I said.
"Sure." she said.
The next couple of minutes felt like an eternity. Kailey picked up the first one and looked at it, then me.
"Positive." she said before throwing it in the trash.
She did the same with the next two which had the same results. What was I going to do?
"Look I have to go but I'm gonna give you my number incase you need someone to talk to. I went through the same thing so I know what it's like to feel like there's no one you can talk to." Kailey said.
She gave me her number then left. There's no way I'm telling Braxton about this. I can get through it without him having to know. He didn't have to know anything. I walked out the bathroom smiling to myself.
Nope he didn't have to know anything.
"Ready to go?" he asked.
"Can we get something to eat first?" I asked.
We walked to the food court and had lunch. On our way out of the mall we passed a baby store. It had a bunch of cute things in it. I would come back and stop in it.
