Well that was unexpected. Reyna started crying so I walked over to her and picked her up out of her high chair.
"Don't cry Reyna your mommy's coming back." I said trying to sooth her.
It really didn't help all that much. Maybe she was tired. I started to rock her and sing her a lullaby.
"Hush, little baby, don't say a word,
Phobe's gonna buy you a mockingbird
And if that mockingbird won't sing,
Phoebe's gonna buy you a diamond ring
And if that diamond ring turns brass,
Phoebe's gonna buy you a looking glass
And if that looking glass gets broke,
Phoebe's gonna buy you a billy goat
And if that billy goat won't pull,

And if that dog named Rover won't bark,

I smiled down at the baby going to sleep in my arms.
"You're going to be a great mom." someone said.
I turned around and saw Braxton standing in the doorway.
"You think so?" I asked.
"I know so." he said.
I smiled. As long as I had him I could do anything.
"Um where do I put her? She's sleeping." I said.
"I'll go ask Kailey." Braxton said.
He left and went go look for Kailey. I wonder if my babies will be fussy like this.
"I'll take her." Kailey said coming into the kitchen.
I handed her over and watch Kailey with her. She really was a good mom. I wonder if my real mom was ever like that with me. I wanted to find my real family before I had the twins if possible.
"Ready to go to bed?" Braxton asked me.
"Yea." I said.
Braxton helped me upstairs to our room and into bed.
"What were you thinking?" Braxton asked.
"Huh?" I asked.
"When you were looking at Kailey and Reyna what were you thinking?"
"I was just wondering about my family and my mom."
"Don't worry you'll find them."
When I woke up Braxton was still asleep. Maybe I can help with something while he's still asleep. I got out of bed quietly and quickly made my way to the bathroom. Braxton barely let me do anything on my own. After I was done I got dressed and made my way downstairs. Braxton's mom, Johnny's mom, and Kailey were in the kitchen.
"Can I help with anything?" I asked.
Braxton's mom turned to look towards me.
"Sure you can help with the potato salad and mashed potatoes." she said.
I grabbed the bowl of potatoes and started peeling. Braxton would kill me if he saw me. The food preparation would take all day.
"Kailey you can take a break and go check on Reyna if you want." Rosemary said.
"Okay." Kailey said.
She washed her hands then went check on her baby. Braxton came into the kitchen not a moment later.
"There you are Phoebe. I've been looking all over for you. What are you doing?" he said when he saw me.
"Helping." I said.
"Are you sure you should be doing that?"
"Braxton I'm fine. Let me do something. I'm pregnant not incapable."
"But..."
"Braxton the girl is okay. I use to do a lot of things when I was pregnant." his mom said cutting him off. "Now if you want to help too make sure that everyone knows what time dinner is for."
Braxton looked at me once more before leaving.
"Thank you." I said.
"No need to thank me. He's just like his father. When I was pregnant with Claudia and Braxton Dennis barely let me do anything too." she said.
