I flinch whenever I see my reflection in the water, or on glass or metal. I haven't slept very well since I moved to Galsran, so I always look tired or sick, and my face is still too feminine. At least no one has found out. Is there a word to describe people like me? Something shorter than "a person who's identity does not match with their body."
I hope no one I know, other than Charlotte, ever finds this.

I feel better today. The Council approved my plan and gave it to the mayor. I also learned that Ollie is good at playing fetch. Some people own dogs for work; I am not one of those people.
Charlotte says to go and try and make friends. I'd rather not. I'm terribly shy and bad at holding conversations.

It's almost May. I've almost lived here for a month and haven't been kicked out. I haven't died. My family hasn't come looking for me to cause me more emotional trauma. Shocking.
The mayor liked the plan. Construction started almost immediately. After it's built, there's the question of who to hire to be wardens. I don't think anyone in Galsran is certified for that.
