*months later*

"I'm really sorry, Mrs. Hood." The doctor said sympathetically.

Ally's vision was clouded with tears and Calum's heart sank.

Ally felt a sharp pain in her lower stomach.

She let out a cry of pain and Calum came rushing in the room.

"What is it, Ally?!" He asked worriedly as he saw her face scrunched up in pain. (;)

She did nothing but rub her baby bump while tears fell from her eyes to her cheeks.

Calum decided to quickly take her to Dr. Matthews.

That's when their world came crashing down.

Meanwhile, Hayden and Chase were anxiously waiting for anything from their parents.

"Hey Chase," Hayden said and he looked up from his phone.

"Yeah?"

"What's going on with you and... Mikayla..." she said quietly while tapping her feet.

"What?" His eyebrows furrowed.

"Nothing is going on between us. That's how it's always been, and it'll continue like that."

"Oh. O-okay." She quickly recovered from her stutter by clearing her throat.

A ding prevented Chase from asking anything and he quickly looked at it, hoping it was something from his dad or mom.

It was just a stupid notification from Twitter.

Then there was a ring.

"Hello?"

"Hey Chase, um, we're coming home in an hour or so... so... yeah." His dad talked awkwardly and uncomfortably but he didn't question it.

"Yeah."

"What'd he say?" Hayden asked as she stood up.

"They're coming home soon." Was all he said and they both went into their bedrooms without a word.

The same thing for Ally when she got home, she locked herself in their shared bedroom and didn't come out for the rest of the day.

Calum had to be the one to break the news to the two anxious kids.

Chase's lips parted as if he was gonna say something but then it closed soon and his eyes squeezed shut in pain.

Hayden rubbed her eyes to avoid tears coming but it was a fail.
