"And an idiot." She giggled. I shook my head laughing. "I think we should start with the basics." I told her, she nodded.

"Ya'know, I was gonna ask Chase but I think it'll be awkward." She admitted.

"Actually, Chase and my dad taught me." I told her.

"Really?" She asked. I nodded. "My dad and uncle taught Chase and then he was there to teach me with a little bit of help from my dad." I laughed. "Wow." She said.

"Yep." I told her as I grabbed the guitar and brought it to where we were sitting, my bed. "Okay so you hold it like this," I moved her arms and shoulders a bit.

I could hear my heart wanting to burst out of my chest. I tried to ignore the feeling, but I couldn't.

*About half an hour later*

"Guys-" My dad stopped and looked at us. "Oh. Well... I'm just gonna- Yeah I wasn't here..." He backed away but hit his head at the top of the door frame.

"DAD!" I yelled. "Yes son?" He asked. "You're an idiot." I told him. "I was just gonna tell you that Mike is here...." He told us both.

"Okay. Bye Con." Lauren waved bye and headed out. "B-bye." I stuttered. I turned to my dad and glared at him.

"You're the worst. Not really but, I'll be in here." I sighed and closed the door on his face. He kinda ruined the moment...

But he's THE Luke Hemmings. Awkward.

I got a text from my friend Zach, son of Zoe and Alfie.

Zach💩: BRO

Me: what?

Zach💩: Hayden noticed me

Me: You do know when you bring her up it gets awkward. Right?

Zach💩: She's your cousin. And deal with it.

Me: Cousin-sister. And it's weird when you call her cute its just ew! 😷

Me: Stop it, get some help.

I turned went to my music and put shuffle on and stared at the ceiling.
