My eyes popped open.

I didn't even gave my body enough time to wake up and sat up straight. My head started spinning wildly it seem like the earth was on a rollar coaster ride. Squinting my eyes a little, I rubbed them removing the left over sleep off them.

Blinking a few more times I got my conscious and a terrible pain in my cheek area.

Soon the realization hit me that I saw almost fifteen to twenty people burn all together in the darkness of midnight. It was terrifying, so much terrifying. It was like watching souls from hell scream and mourn in the evil furies of fire which was all covered in the blanket of darkness.

I shut my eyes tightly at the thought of it.

I heard the metal click beside me and I flinched before jumping off the ground to stand up away from him as far as I could.

Reece was sitting there checking his gun when my sudden jump cause him to turn his despicable eyes up without moving his face, only clenching his jaw.

The memory from a few hours ago flashed in front of my eyes.

After I saw the bus burn. My body couldn't stop itself and it spat onto him. I tried to beat him or atleast slap him all over his chest like a wild cat knowing it was useless but I needed something to take my anger out. Basically, I made him my punching bag. He took a one or two step back at a surprised attack by a weak tiny Kitty.

To which, of course, he didn't stay quiet.

The exasperated sounds my throat was making were shut up as soon as his hand made contact with my cheek and I toppled on the ground face first after that everything went black and then I wokeup here from where when I ran my eyes to the surrounding all I could see was a barren land, a road in front of us with no burning bus or a roasted piece of steel with dead bodies inside but a second hard broken car which can barely serve the purpose of driving, I guess.

"Where did the bus go?" I asked turning my head 360°, ignoring the heavy pain in my head and cheek. The question was more to myself then him. My fingers held my head which started throbbing due this crazy maze which my life was turning into.

He got up to his feet still holding his gun and took a step towards me and I took one back.

"Sugar tits, did you forgot what I told you? Back in the bus?" His voice manipulating and playing.

All the strength to protest against my horrible cringe worthy nickname was lost, I was roo scared to say anything to him. I creased my eyebrows together to understand what he really meant by the way he said that.

He took another step and so did I, only backwards.

"Only I can ask questions nobody else." Holding the gun he took another step and now we were only at an arm's distance. "Not. YOU" He hissed through gritted teeth.

"Please let me go" Though I knew we had come a far way and right now I was in an exact definition of what we call, 'in the middle of nowhere', I had no place to go nor I had any idea how to go if anywhere. Neither did I wanted to stay in less than 500feet diameter of his area.

Sadly, I didn't even had a choice.

"Not yet"

I gasped at what I saw in his eyes. It was the same thing when he kissed me- shoved his mouth upon me- back in the bus. It was scary.

"Who are you" My mouth dared to ask. This time not to get answer but to challenge his authority. Who the hell was he.

"ughh.. I told you not to ask questions and ESPECIALLY this one." He held my wrist tightly. My head, my cheek, my elbow, my arm, my legs basically my whole body was aching but right now his hold on my wrist only scared my soul.
