"Did you kill him?"
After contemplation various things to say to this marvellous mysteriously sizzling man, I finally uttered a question.
To which he simply chose to ignore. Or maybe my voice didn't reach his ears. Therefore, I asked again, this time a bit louder.
"Did you kill him?"
Hence, this proves that my voice was perfectly fine which concludeed either he was actually ignoring me or he was deaf. Sadly, being a deaf man didn't dull his hotness which was hotter than this barren field.
Before I could lose him, I decided to walk up to him to stop him. No matter if he was deaf or dumb or hot as hell, I needed to get out of here fast.
Within three strides I was in his range, I lifted up my hand to tap him on his shoulder when he suddenly caught my hand with his, turning around before even I could notice.
My eyes grew wider from seeing his mastered jaw lines this close, damn, his face should be preserved for eternity. Those deep eyes focused completely at me and his hot persona only ignited the fire in me. I tried to ignore that hard rough grip on my wrist which he held tighter than that drug dealer, Reece. My heart beat ran and it ran somewhere too far for me to think where was I or what was going on. What was going on with me?
Taking a step closer, without removing his hold from my wrist he kept coming closer. And soon he was standing just a breath away from me. My knees felt wobbly and my hands started shaking. Obviously he noticed it too. In response, he only spared my hand a glimpse.
"He is alive"
Trying to ignore his rough heavy voice, my head turned in Reece's direction. That body laid defeated in land looked nothing close to alive. That didn't mean I felt pitty or sympathetic towards him. He deserved worse than this. He burnt so many people alive ruthlessly and destroyed the lives of their loved ones in thousand ways. He deserved worse. He deserved the same death.
The feeling of his eyes on me made me direct my gaze back on him only to find his eyes studying me with a smirk, I asked "Who are you", my voice barely a whisper.
Titling his head to a side, he only helped the sunlight to throw spotlight on his chiselled face highlighting each and every detail more specifically and beautifully. His dusky texture embraced every inch of sunlight and those grey eyes didn't squint themselves, they only seem more brightened. Those bronze hair looked like the feathers of gold, I craved to run my hands through.
"Jon. I am a drug dealer," Just with that word, I snatched my hand away from his, to which he let it go, easily.
Only widening his smirk, he eyed my reaction. In an easy cool manner he continued "Until and unless you are a daughter of an officer working for FBI, or a spy yourself. I must enlighten you anyway," Lifting his head up high as if feeling proud of who he was, he said "I am a criminal."
Blinking my eyes several times, I tired to tear the fog from the mirror of my fate. One decision pushed me in the hands of a killer only to be saved by a criminal. In between, I was given no choice no lifeline only a word - Acceptance.
"Do you kill people too?" I stuttered.
"Yes" He replied casually mostly amusingly.
"Do you rob?"
"Ah, that's my favourite"
"Do you sell people or?" I gulped "Rape?"
His expression turned a little stern which changed into a frown and he started eyeing the surrounding. The sun lost its shine and his face turned dark as moon. In a grim voice, he spoke "We should go".
