Bang bang, two shots fired
Man down, one fool, one liarHonestly, that was the song going on in my head while I stood there pointing the gun in his direction.
Though, the situation was completely different than the song but it just came out of nowhere in my head and I have always loved this song. The only annoying part was that only rhis line was on repeat.
If I would want to call Jon a criminal that would be an understatement. In that very moment, he proved, he was more than just a drug dealer; he was a well trained dealer with good reflexes and sharp skills to recognise any odd moment. But right now, he was just able to score lower than me. That didn't mean he was quick, he was just a little late.
Bang bang, one shot fired
Man down, one intruder, one outsiderJust the moment, Jon turned he realised something wasn't right and just as I fired the shot he ducked much before to let the bullet hit my target. It wasn't that I was targeting him but to him it was a very dangerous situation because, I was still learning. My target was the intruder who suddenly came out of nowhere behind him. I pointed my gun in his direction but as my skills weren't sharp enough, I shot towards Jon. Yet, I managed to kill the intruder that was enough for me.
I saw something the moment when Jon started to move towards the door, I opened my mouth to stop Jon but realised it could alert the intruder. When I saw a shadow which due to some ungodly reason Jon missed to notice despite looking in the same direction, I pointed my gun towards the door releasing the safety, getting ready to hit it.
We didn't even get enough time to recover from the sudden attack only enough for us to lock our eyes and it was all that was required for both of us to know we were in an extreme danger. It was proved later on when within a second we were surrounded by six more men covering their faces with a typical black cloth, how original, guns in their hands pointed towards us. Noticing how afraid I was, Jon made his way towards me but stopped just as nuzzle of the gun touched his shirt. Whereas, the gun in my hand felt useless suddenly, knowing in no way I would be able to kill any more men tonight, all their guns were pointed towards us, one wrong move and our heads would be blown.
I looked at Jon with hopeful eyes and what I saw there was everything I needed to. His eyes told me he was here with me and I was not alone. A slight nod was thrown my way and I stood there staring at him trying my best to teleport it to him that I was new in this world and I do not know what a nod means.
When I refuse to look away or maybe my expression only changed to worse he mouthed "I got this"
"No Jon, you didn't" came a voice from behind me. it was then I realised that there was a man, his face too hidden, just behind me.
Jon's eyes averted towards the man and he shot him his best look, the coldest one.
I was too afraid to mock him at that moment but all I wanted was for him to try even harder because his look was not a gun it was in no way going to shoot these guys.
"Who are you?" Jon's eyes weren't on one person anymore. As he spoke, he addressed every single man in the room pointing guns in our direction.
"What do we want? Who sent us? Bla Bla Bla cut through the chase, Jon. You know what we want" the man behind me spoke. "Oh, and by the way," and I felt his gloves touch my hand as he snatched the gun away from me easily, I was too afraid to have a hold on it and let it go. I knew I made a big mistake and I refused to lift my eyes to meet Jon's. "Let me have this sweetheart. We don't want you to shoot another men of ours now, do we?"
Di, this is not the time to be afraid. Why do you always forget, you chose this life. Now deal with it. Deal with it.
Right, I have to deal with this.
