I'm way past exhausted when I get to my room Friday night. I take a deep breath of accomplishment.

We actually got everything done and ready. The barn looks amazing with the Christmas lights hanging over the door ways and around the railings on the inside. Sure ain't professional but to us, it looks great. I do mental check list in my head.

The barn cleaned, swept out, hay bails lined up inside as seats, white towels and sheets lay on the hay bails, so it will be a little more comfy, the speaker system is set up and ready, and those crates turned into tables to put the food on.

Vicky, Tiffany an I pitched in to help prepare the food. Fortunately, Paula had enough to cook. She did say after this is over, she will defiantly be in need to restock the pantry and freezer.

Bill even came out today to see all our work. He didn't confront Jayden about this short notice wedding. He was actually proud of him. Margie even agreed. It made all of us feel good.

The couple mentioned they didn't care about the details, but that's not how we work. Well Jayden and I wanted this couple to have a memorable day, even if it's a shotgun wedding. We want them to look back and smile at our effort to make their day wonderful.

I go into the bathroom to take a nice, long relaxing bath. I even add a bath bomb into the water. It feels so good and smells like strawberries and beaches. I lay in the tub until the water gets cooler.

After I get out, I slip on my pink silky shorts and black tank top. I'm just about to get into my bed that's calling my name, but gets interrupted by a knock on my door. I moan and practically drag my feet to answer it.

Jayden appears in my doorway. "Hey." I sound like I'm half sleep.

"Hi. You look like your about to get into bed." he observes my wet hair and night clothes.

"Good observation." I whisper.

I have no energy to use my normal voice.

He smiled. "Well, I guess I wont keep you from your bed."

I lean my head against the door frame and nod. "We have a serious date tonight."

"Lucky bed." he confirms.

I am seriously tired but I do catch that jealous tone in his voice.

We haven't had another opportunity to share a mind blowing kiss, like the one the other day. He has kissed me on the cheek while in passing each other, when no one was looking. That's all we really had time for.

I'm complaining. Working so much and not being alone with him, had given me plenty of chances to think it through. We have been catching each others eyes and every time, my heart races and I forget what I'm doing.

He has been so much fun this week. He really doesn't act like he used to.

The first time I ever seen him, he was sitting on the back porch with Brandon. He was arguing about their father not caring about him. Paula introduced us and he only looked at me once that day. He never spoke to me, until I run into him in the halls. He would only glare at me like I wasn't allowed to speak or be near him. He was a total jerk. Then from time to time, I done something wrong or he did, and we were the only ones that knew. He always used to threaten to fire me, but all off those days are gone.

"Are you jealous?" I giggle.

"Not me." he smiles then winks.

"Well, you could be a third wheel." I joke. I kinda want him to sleep with me. Not in a dirty way!

"Is that an invite?" he questions.

Before I change my sleepy mind, I hold the door open and he turns his head down the hall as in to check before walking in.
