A year later, I'm getting ready for my wedding day.

So much has happened in the year. Vicky and Tiffany has moved upstairs to the wing of the house I stay in. Paula and Harris remain in the living quarters though. They both say its easier and quicker to get into the house. They didn't want to climb the stairs everyday. They were also married three months after Jayden proposed to me. They went to the courthouse and got married. We're all happy for them.

Vicky and Brandon are still together. He proposed about two months ago. And of coarse she said yes! Tiffany and Sawyer began dating officially. They had a secret thing going on that no one knew about. No marriage proposal from them yet.

Bill and Margie did take their vacation. They left for two weeks for a cruise to the Bahamas. And he did give us the control of the plantation. He's very proud of us. He still attends events we hold but he has no say in whatever we do or plan.

Scarlet has become more than my friend. She has become a sister. We try to make every Friday night a girls night. Me, Vicky, Tiffany and Scarlet have become a group of best friends. It has been so much fun spending Friday nights hanging out with them.

Scarlets also been flirting more with Joey. He took her on a date a few months ago and that turned into a comedy relationship. They argue non stop. I think its love but Scarlet claims she hate him. Vicky and I laugh over that.

She still acts like a brat occasionally.

My dad and I talk almost every day. He full filled his goal and added me into a story he's been working on. That makes my heart swell with joy. All those years with my mother, I never been proud to be someones child. Now I have him, he makes me feel lucky to have a father as wonderful as him. He fills in those empty spaces, she never filled.

Also, Jayden and I did go visit him in New York. He gave us a tour around the city and showed us his workshop where he writes his books. We both were very impressed, especially when he took us to a restaurant where he has a permanent table. He told us he comes in there with his laptop and writes for hours. All the waitresses know his favorite foods and most of the time, he eats for free. Talk about spoiled.

As for Jayden and I, we're more in love than ever. He made sure I have the wedding that I wished for. He stole my dream book one day and printed out my images, and got professionals to design the day exactly how it was in my book.

"Knock knock." my dad appears in my doorway with his arms behind his back. He's wearing a solid black suit and silver tie.

"Come in dad." I smile at him.

"Wow." he admires.

I'm standing there in my strapless A-line wedding dress. A crystal belt wraps around my waist. The skirt flows with the lace that is lined with tiny crystals. Vicky fixed my hair for me. She pinned the front parts of my hair in the back and attached them with a crystal butterfly clip. She curled the rest of the hair to give it a sweeter look. Paula done my make-up. She gave me a natural look, but added a little shimmer to my eyes and cheeks. I feel beautiful.

"You look like a princess." he beams.

"Dad, don't make me cry." I whimper and smile.

He takes a few steps to reach me. "I never seen such a beautiful bride."

"Thank you. I'm so glad your here." I whisper.

"I wouldn't miss my daughters wedding." he tells me.

I shake my head. "That's not what I meant. I mean I'm happy I found you. I couldn't have a wedding without my father to walk me down the aisle."
