Dad is at work and Craig is minding Carl and Sabrina. Charlie is probably with friends or something.
I throw my hair into a messy bun. I put on a pair of leggings and an oversized white hoodie. I slip on my black converse and run downstairs.
I text Craig letting him know I'm gone before walking to Shawn's.
I arrive at Shawn's and knock at the door. His mom answers it and she lets me in.
"I haven't seen you in ages how have you been?" She asks me and I chuckle and just as I'm about to answer Shawn appears and interrupts.
"Mom you literally saw her the other day. You can talk to her soon I just need to talk to her, please." Shawn tells his mum and she sighs at him.
"I guess I'll see you later Lindsay since Shawn is being a moody cow today." I laugh at his mum and Shawn just scowls at her.
"Love you too mom." He shouts as we walk down to the basement.
We sit down on the recliner and the room falls silent.
"So.." I trail off. I know what he wants to talk about.
"I've thought about it and I've come up with a legit plan for us to work out." Shawn tells me and I furrow my eyebrows.
"This isn't some damn book or movie where it all works out. I've my future and my parents and everything to consider." I reason and he rolls his eyes.
"You haven't even heard my plan." He sighs and I nod my head telling him to continue. "Look, you're not going to stay in high school. You're getting bigger and bigger. Online school is the best option and that's what I'm going doing too, I have for the last school year too. I mean you basically have your future set out for you. You're modelling and stuff y'know? I mean why won't you just do online school and we can stay together please Lindsay. You've always said you would end up doing it, so why not now before the school year starts?" Shawn rants and I take it all in.
I get what he's saying but I don't want to face the reality that I'm so 'famous' I can't live a normal life. I want to wait it out as long as possible so I can feel normal.
"I know I know.. but even if I decide to do online school I'll have to do the first term of school in actual school since I'm enrolled." I explain and he sits forward and nods his head, thinking to himself. "I'll talk to my parents about it, my mom tried to get me to do online school last year anyways I'm sure she'll understand. I just want them to know it's not just so I can be with you it'll benefit me too." I continue and he lowers his head, he says nothing. "We've been apart before we'll be fine. We can get this sorted we'll be together I promise. With both of our careers no matter how much we try to stay together we'll have to spend some time apart y'know?" I reason and he nods his head.
"No no I get it I'm happy. I just hate being away from you I guess. I mean I don't want you to be pressured into this I know there's other ways to go about it and stuff but-"
"No Shawn you're not pressuring me into it. It's something that needs to be done, even if you weren't in the picture." I reassure Shawn before I smile at him.
Shawn wraps his arms around me and pulls me into his embrace.

"I'm gonna go home. I'll talk to dad about it tomorrow." I tell Shawn and he smiles at me.
"Want a lift home?" He asks and I shake my head.
"Nah I'm actually in the mood for walking for once in my life." I joke and he laughs at me.
"I love you." He tells me and I grin at him.
"I love you too." I say back before giving him a peck on the lips and start my walk home.
I hope everything works out. Surely my parents will understand it's not just for Shawn. It's for me and my life too.
