Escaping

Em's POV

So Chloe kissed her childhood friend...the world gets crazier every second.

I sit on the bed eating popcorn while Chloe hums a song."Whatcha' humming?"I asked and laughed.

"A song from Pentatonix.Remember their song,'The Baddest Girl?'"

I nodded and smiled."I have their songs still on my phone.Wanna listen?"She smirked and flung her earbud around.

I laughed and laid down next to her.I put the earbud in and enjoyed the music.

"Valentine" came on and I sang to Mitch's parts.Chloe closed her eyes and smiled like an idiot when Mitch was singing.

"So,Pentatonix...they're zombies."Chloe mumbled.

I nodded and let a puff of air out.

"It makes me kind of upset.They are,I mean-were amazing singers and people.Now,the only thing they live on is other people's brains."

"It makes me upset too,Chloe.But,we can't blame them."

"Than what do we blame?"

"I don't know.I don't even know if there's someone or something to blame."

Chloe sits up and takes her coat off.

"What about you and Darren?Are you two official now?"I asked being nosey as ever.

"I don't know.He said he loved me,but I don't know if I could love him.He's my best friend,Em."

I pat her shoulder and hug her.

"It is your choice,Chloe.But,Darren loves you more than anything.Just make sure you make the right choice"I whispered.

She smiles and goes to the bathroom.

She fixes her hair and comes back into the room.

"Shall we get back to listening to the music?"I smirked.

"Of course."

We listened to music for the rest of the night.

Chloe's POV

I woke up to Em playing on her phone.She looked at me and smiled."Morning,Sleeping Beauty."

I smiled and laughed.

"Morning.Has Darren came by yet?"I asked.She shook her head and said,"He's coming over in a couple of minutes though."

I got up and took a quick shower.I brushed my hair and my teeth.I put a sweater and some skinny jeans on while Em stayed in her PJ's.

"Darren's here."Em said.

I got up and saw Darren smiling."I missed you."He whispered into my ear,giving me chills that goes down my back.

Em goes into the kitchen and fixes some breakfast."I missed you too."I kissed his lips.We keep kissing.His tongue tickles my bottom lip.

I open my mouth and let his tongue in.Maybe I do love him...Wait!He's my childhood friend.I can't fall in love with him.

I don't know anymore...

I let his tongue dance with mine as we kiss."You guys done making out?"Em said.

We stopped kissing.I blushed furiously and smirked at Em.She laughed and yelled,"Breakfast is ready!"

We walk in to the kitchen and eat breakfast.I don't know why,but I feel like I don't belong here anymore.

I know what it need to do.

I need to escape.
