No Escape

Mitch's POV

Well,it's nice to know our actual names now.Chloe is nice.I still think she's trying to get used to living with five zombies.

"I'm hungry."Chloe blurts out of nowhere.I stand up and groan,"Stay here."

She nods and plays on her phone.I stand up and step off of the plane.

*45 minutes later*

This search for food isn't going well.The only thing I can find is canned fruit.I look over countertops and see some beer.

'She'll like this.'I thought.

Everyone needs beer once in a while.I wonder how beer would taste for zombies.I twist the lid off slowly and take a sip.

That...was...amazing.

I need to save this for Chloe.I put the lid back on and put the beer in my coat pocket.All of the sudden,I hear a scream.

It sounds like...Chloe

'I told her to stay on the plane!Does she ever listen?' I panicked and got the canned fruit and wine together.I ran-well-limped-everywhere around the airport.I guess that pretty much explains why I live in an airplane.

I limped and saw something that wasn't that pretty...

Chloe's POV

"Help!Someone,please!"

Zombies surrounded me while I try to fight them off.I found a AK47.I picked it up and shot the zombies in the head.

'Maybe I shouldn't have left the airplane.' I thought.

Mitch charge in and punched some of the zombies.I shot a zombie in the head and black liquid poured out of its head."This is a disgusting sight to see."I mumble and run over to Mitch."I told you.Not safe."He groaned.

"Do you not think I know that?"I sighed.

All of the sudden,a zombie pops up and yells,"Eat!".I clutch onto Mitch tightly and sob."Please,Mitch.Don't let them eat me...please."I sniffle.Mitch hesitates some and puts his arms around me.

"Keep safe."

All of the sudden,I hear a voice yell,"Chloe!Where are you!"

It was Em's voice.

All of the sudden Em runs into me and hugs me."Thank god you're safe!Me and Darren have been loo-"She was cut off by looking at Mitch.

She froze and her jaw dropped.

"Is that-"

"Yes.It's Mitch.He followed me into the shelter and I passed out.And now,I live in an abandoned airplane."

"Well,aren't you gonna come back?"Em question and looked at Mitch."No.This might sound insane,but Mitch is my friend now."I blurt.

"Friend?Chloe,he's a zombie.He's probably planning to eat you in the next hour or so!"She yelled.

I scoffed and said,"He has been protecting me,Em!A couple of minutes ago,I could've died but Mitch came and saved me!He has been telling me over and over,'Keep safe.'"I look up at Mitch and let go of his waist.

Em sighs and throws her hands up in the air.

"Fine.But,just to make sure you'll be safe,I'll be coming with you wherever this plane is."

I sighed in relief and hugged Em.

"Look."Mitch pointed behind me and I looked behind me along with Em.

What I saw next made my heart stop.

A Boney.

"Now would be the best time to run!"Em yelled.I nodded and took a hold of Mitch's hand.I ran along with Em and Mitch to the plane.We ran down the broken escalator and past the door.Em took my gun and shot the Boney.

"Did I just shoot a skeleton?"

"Boney is the correct word,Em."I smirk.We kept running and we eventually saw the airplane.We walked to the airplane and walked up the ramp."Food."Kirstie groaned as we entered the plane.

"Kirstie,she won't be eaten."

Em kept smiling at Kirstie like an idiot.

"My name is Em."

Em hugged Kirstie and sighed."I can get used to this."Em chuckled.I chuckled and smiled.

'That went well.' I thought.
