Isabella's POV:

After the emotional events of last night, Justin decided to go to his house and me and Liv went to sleep. Liv slept with such a beautiful smile on her face. You could see how happy she was that her father was already here. They talked for a while yesterday, what seemed really weird to me was that she never asked him about the "trip". And I know Liv is a really curious girl, so that just made me really confused.

I was currently watching some tv along with my daughter. We were watching Spongebob Squarepants. She was laughing constantly, she loves it. I smiled at the thought of that. She seemed to be in her own little bubble. So innocent. I wanted her to stay that way, but that's not going to happen. She's growing up so fast and someday that little bubble will be gone, just like it happened to me and anyone in this world.

I was so deep in my thoughts I didn't notice that the tv show had finished until Liv started jumping basically on top of me.

"Mommy! Mommy! Spongebob ended, change the channel please!" She said very happily.

"Haha ok, let's see what we have." I started searching through channels to find some appropiate tv show or movie to watch with my daughter. I found the movie Around the World in 80 Days and decided to leave it there. Liv stopped jumping and got really concentrated watching the movie. You could see her eyebrows furrowing bacause of the concentration while her lips parted slightly. Her eyes were glued to the amazing movie in which Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson appear. Suddenly, that concentration in her veins and her eyes stopped and decided to be focused on me.

"Mom, did dad really travelled the world?" She said with that look that always reminded me of her father when he was asking something. Something thar he was curious about, something important. I hesitated to answer a bit at first but then I decided to answer her with what she wanted to hear. I mean, what we wanted her to hear.

"Yeah, he travelled a lot." I say with a nervous smile making its way towards my face. Liv seems not satisfied by my answer and decides to talk again, this time leaving me speechless.

"He wasn't travelling right?" She says looking at me in my eyes. Why is she asking me that? She seemed to believe us all this time. I just don't understand where this is coming from.

Then I remembered what my mom told me when I was making up what to say to Liv in this awful situation.

"Go ahead and tell her that. But kids are kids, not idiots. She's going to know sooner or later"

And now I look at Liv and I can't help to think that my mother was right. You can't hide the truth to a kid. They'll notice sooner or later. Maybe you can sugar coat it, but you can't lie about it. Kids are more intelligent than what we think.

"What makes you think that sweetie?" I say really wanting to know the answer to what she asked me about.

"I heard you and daddy yesterday." She says with those bright blue eyes she got from my dad, her grandfather.

"What exactly did you hear?" I ask her trying to know how much she knew about the situation that happened 2 years ago and about its consequences.

"I heard you telling dad about keeping the story you've made going. Besides, it would be weird if dad after what he did to auntie Cassie, would go travelling." She says being completely sincere with me.

"Why do you think it would be weird?" I say being confused as ever. Liv is so smart.

"Because, making any harm to other person should not be celebrated. And, I saw when the police dragged him out of the house that day." She said and her eyes watered at the thought of that horrible day we lived.
