Sabree's POV

I woke up squinted as the sun hit my eyes.

I rubbed my eyes and looked at the beautiful boy laying next to me.

He had his arm draped around my waist and his head was buried in my neck as he snores lightly.

What have I done?

I shouldn't of ever kissed him.

This shouldn't be happening.

But he looked so peaceful while he was sleeping.

My heart and my brain were having a civil war and I didn't know who was winning.

My brain was screaming no but my heart screamed yes.

I was snapped out my thoughts with the sound of my phone vibrating on the table. I reached over and grabbed it putting it up to my ear and carefully getting out of bed making sure not to wake Michael up.

"Hello?" I asked once I was in the hall.

"Hey Bree." Kevin's happy voice filled my ears.

"Did you get home safe?" He asked.

"Yeah Michael walked me." I said before I could catch myself.

I heard him laughing on the other end and I rolled my eyes.

"That doesn't surprise me. Anyways I was just calling to check up on you since we don't have work today."

"Oh yeah I forgot." I said.

"Yeah so I'll call you later ok?"

"Ok." I said before hanging up.

I grabbed a towel and headed to the bathroom to take a shower figuring Michael wouldn't be up for a while.

I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body before quietly making my way back to my room.

I jumped back when I saw Michael sitting up in bed.

"You have got to stop scaring me like that." I said laughing.

He chuckled and shrugged.

"Sorry."

I shook my head and went to walk into my closet to put some clothes on only to be pulled back into Michael's chest.

He wrapped his arms securely around my waist and kissed my neck.

"Goodmorning beautiful." He whispered in my ear sending chills down my spine.

I blushed and walked away going into the closet to change.

I slipped on a pair of gray ripped skinny jeans and my favorite black Memphis May Fire shirt pairing it with my black converses.

I walked out brushing my hair and pulling it into a ponytail.

"Aren't you going to go home?" I asked sitting down on the bed next to Michael.

"Do you have to work today?" He said ignoring my question.

I shook my head no.

"Then no I'm not going home."

"I have other plans today." I said obviously lieing. My only plans for today were to stay home and watch Netflix.

Michael caught onto my lie and scooted closer to me a glint of something I couldn't quite figure out prominent in his beautiful eyes.

"Are you sure about that? Cause I think your lieing."

I gulped and scooted away from him.

"Why me?" I muttered quietly speaking more to myself but failing as Michael had heard me.

"What do you mean?" He asked obviously confused.

"Why me? Why did you choose me? You could have any girl out there but instead you chose me."

I regretted my words as soon as they had left my mouth.

He sighed and closed his eyes leaning against the headboard of the bed.

It was silent for a while until he finally spoke up.

"I think the better question is why not you? I mean have you seen yourself. Your fucking beautiful. Ever since I saw you that day in the restaurant I knew I had to have you. When we walked in everyone automatically shut up and wouldn't even smile at us. But you. You smiled at us. Not a fake smile either it was a real genuine smile."

He took a deep breath and looked me in the eyes.

"Why?" He asked.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

"Why did you smile?"

I shrugged and played with the hem of my shirt. Thinking of the best answer. But there was only one answer.

"I smiled because your just normal people. Yeah your the leader of a gang but who cares? I mean yeah your dangerous. Really dangerous but your people. You deserve to be treated the same as others no matter who you are or what you do."

I looked up and he was smiling at me.
Michael Clifford was smiling.

And it was absolutely adorable.

Wait, what am I thinking?

He's dangerous.

I can't be getting involved with him.

Without thinking I stood up.

"Ok well I think you need to go now." I said quietly.

He looked up at me confused and stood up walking towards me.

"Why?" He asked.

I closed my eyes refusing to look at him because I knew if I did I would give in.

"Just leave." I said firmly.

He seemed to get the hint and picked up his leather jacket off the floor.

He brushed my shoulder as he walked past me and I couldn't help but inhale his contagious scent.

I wanted nothing more than to crawl into his arms but I controlled myself and stood my ground.

"Fine I'll leave." His words filled my ears and there was almost a sound of hurt on his voice.

"But I'll be back."

I don't think I was supposed to hear it but I did.

I heard it plain as day.

And it honestly scared the hell out of me.

What did he mean?

He'll be back.

Oh fuck.

I knew this was a bad idea.

I groaned and threw myself on the bed.

This is going to be a long day.

I'm literally usually just winging everything.
Don't try this at home kids.
