Charcoal clouds flooded the sky, the four turtles looked at the green haired girl and her mother.

"What do you mean you two aren't going to stay with us? You need a safe place to stay." The cerulean-clad turtle questioned the two females.

"Nope turtle-man. It's not like we can trust you, random things." The older woman shot back.

"It's the best option," His admiral eyes flicked from the lime-haired girl to her mother. "to keep you and your daughter safe."

"I can't trust you things."

"We're turtles, okay?" The chartreuse eyed turtle huffed, he glared at the two who were bickering.

"Turtles, amphibians, mutants, whatever." The mother's cider eyes rolled, "I don't care. I, along with my daughter, can't trust you."

"Please, Elizabeth." Leo pleaded, "We're trying to protect what's left of your family."His words only struck a sour note with the woman.

"What's left of my family is none of your concern!"

"The Shredder is trying to use you both." Leo kept his voice steady and calm in contrast to the furious woman.

"Shredder!" She scoffed, "I don't care about Shredder!"

"What about your daughter? Surely you care about her well-being?"

"Of course I care about my daughter's well-being! But I'm not going to back down from stupid threats Saki puts on my back! I am also certainly not going to a stranger's house!"

"We're going to our house," Peridot spoke, the eyes turning to her. "Like my mother said, we can't trust you guys, not after everything you did to me."

Leo glared at the two, shaking his head he spoke, "You don't understand what danger your in. Your house isn't safe, and once you get captured again, you'll finally understand. But we have to get back to our lair."

Peridot rolled her eyes at the turtle, she then turned to her mother. "Let's go, they're no help anyways. We'll be safe with the Kraang, they'll know what to do."

"The Kraang?" Donnie choked out, "They mutate living people against their will. They use humans as their test subjects." He spat with venom lacing his voice.

"They saved me," She turned on her heel to glare at him, "Something you guys are having trouble of doing."

"We did save you, we just saved you!" Raph shouted at the girl.

"Saved me? You left me on a Kraang ship, you left 50 people behind when you raided the Kraang ship to save April. You saved April that day, but not us." Her voice turned sour as she spoke, You say you save people, but really your only saving the people who actually mean something to you. The Kraang tried to save us when the ship was going down, and you guys were no where to be seen. Do you want to know how many of them died because of your arrogance?"

They didn't know what to say, they were frozen. How did they miss 50 other lives on the Kraang ship? Or did they truly only cared about saving April? That they missed over the clear signs of other people who were on the ship.

Donnie stepped towards the sour girl, "Peridot..." He trailed off, not knowing what to tell her.

"We're leaving Donatello." The girl grabbed her mother's arm and started to pull her away from the turtles.

"We would have saved you, if we knew you were there." Donnie struggled with words, not wanting to lose the girl he cared about.

"But you didn't, now did you?" She shot him a glare, "You didn't even check twice for any of us."
