2D x Reader

Unwanted guest.

 (2D's pov)

 Array walked down to Murdoc and I . She looked... Amazing. I haven't seen her dressed up in like forever. I couldn't look away. My eyes met hers and I realized that I was staring. "Ya look beautiful, luv." I stated. Murdoc was still staring. He looked at her up and down. I elbowed him in the chest. She giggled, "Thanks Stu, noodle helped me." Russel walked up behind Array and put his hand on her shoulder. "At least noodle did a good job." Array nodded.

"Hey pothead, come 'elp me with this music would ya." Murdoc yelled. Array and Russel laughed at what Murdoc called me, they went back to talking. Murdoc was trying to put a speaker in the corner of the ceiling. "Can ya put that up 'ere?" Murdoc asked. "Magic word?" Murdoc frowned. "NOW!" he bellowed. I hooked it into place first try. He stepped over to his phone. "LET THERE BE SOUND!" Pearl by Tamar-Kali (video above)  blared from the speakers. "People should be arrivin' any moment now." Murdoc said cheerfully. He was smiling like a three year old on Christmas.    

I strolled over to the fridge and grabbed a beer. "You want one?" I asked Array. She hesitated for a moment and nodded her head yes. "I, uh haven't had a beer in a while." She laughed. "We both remember what happened last time you drank." her and i giggled. I glanced over and saw Murdoc already setting up jello shots. Array looked in the same direction as I did. she whispered in my ear "I'm gonna get wasted aren't I?" she asked already knowing the answer. "Yeah me too." I whispered back. We both giggled. "RING" Murdoc almost skipped to the door. Array and I looked at the door. At least 30 people pranced into the room. One in particular catching my eye. 'NATHAN'  I internally yelled. I outta beat him to a pulp. But I had to keep Array away from him at all costs. I grabbed Array by the arm and lead her to the hallway. I assumed Murdoc directed the party to the porch until more people arrived. 

 Array looked at me confused and concerned. "What?" she asked concerned. I hesitated. "Come with me, please." I lead her up the elevator onto the roof. She followed patiently, almost tripping a few times because I was walking to fast. We finally made it. The sky was covered in stars. You could hear the music Coming from downs stairs. I already had beach chairs up there since the last time that I was there. Array sat down next to me. "Is everything okay?" She asked. I hesitated once more. I felt as though i was going to choke on my own words. "A-array I've known you since grade school, And you're my best friend. Since you have come back into my life every things been better, I don't even take as much painkillers as I used to." I started getting off track. "What I'm trying to ask is... Will you be my girlfriend."  Array kissed me. I froze for a moment and then kissed her back. We took a break in order to breathe. "Does that answer your question?" She asked playfully. "I guess it does." I booped her nose. 

 All the sudden I remembered Nathan. Array stood up to head back to the party. I grabbed her arm. I need to tell her Nathan's here. I don't want her to find out on her own. "Array. Nathan is here, at the party." Her face changed. Her eyes were cold and dead. Nothing like before. "What?" She was obviously angry. "I'll go beat em' up if that's-" "No. Its fine i'll just stick with you." I nodded my head. We headed back down stairs. 

(Array's pov)

 I kissed 2D. I've always wanted to do that. In his arms I feel safe, and to know that feeling will be permanent is overwhelming. I felt like I had no weight. Until 2D told me Nathan was here. I fell back down to fell down to earth. "I'll beat em' up if that's-" He said with a sudden wave of confidence. I know that violence is not the answer. "No. Its fine i'll just stick with you." I grabbed his hand and we walked down stairs

  There was at least 100 people maybe 200 here already. There were red cups every where and people taking body shots over in the corner. "Want to get some shots?" 2D asked yelling over the noise. "Yea." We sat at a table with a bunch of people. Shots were already conveniently on the table already. The people at the table looked at us. I took one, then two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. "WHOOO!" There was now a crowd around us. I realized that I had just taken 10 jello shots in a matter of seconds. 2D looked amazed and everybody else was cheering. 2D took maybe three shots before standing up. "Wanna dance?" 2D asked. "Totally." We pranced out side to the porch where there were people already dancing. 

  I'm completely wasted. So i'm dancing like a lunatic. Same with 2D.  Music blared from the speakers. Murdoc had set up Christmas lights to turn on and off. Tacky but it still worked. It felt like a mosh pit dancing with all those people. I turned around to see a huge circle of people. 2D noticed i was staring and we both headed over to see the fight.

(Murdoc's pov)

 I'm sitting down with a bunch of chicks. All in slutty outfits. I was having a wonderful time. A guy tugged on the back of my shirt. "HEY!" This guy looked like a douche. "I was wondering if you know a girl named array?" He had the most boring monotone voice. "Why should I tell you?" I asked getting suspicious. "because I'm her boyfriend." This, this was Nathan. Array's abuser. Anger boiled inside of me. I punched him square in the jaw. Knocked em' on the ground. "So, eh you're the one who was beatn' up on Array?" He didn't say shit. I got himself back up and went to swing at me. I grabbed his arm and put him to the ground.

 At this point there was a crowd of people around us. I raised my fist. "STOP!" 2D shouted. Array was behind him. "Why, this is Nathan?" I asked confused. Nathan stood back up and brushed off his pants. "Array you're coming back with me."  Nathan grabbed her arm. "The hell she is!" Russel boomed from out of the crowd. Russel punched him right in the nose. Making his nose bleed. Everybody in the audience awed at what they just saw. "Get the hell out of here would ya." 2D yelled.

 Nathan scurried back into the house. "Thanks." Array said. "No need to thank us, I don't want you back with that bastard." Russel patted Arrays back. I went back with my women. 

Time skip until the party has died down so know there's only about 30 people left     

(2D's pov)

Array was very drunk and could barely talk straight. Not that I wasn't either. Murdoc had gone back to his room with his skanks. Russel was out on the porch entertaining a couple of people. Array and I were talking inside. Music blared from the speaker. Apocalypse by Cigarettes after sex played. Array tapped her foot. "Wanna dance?" I asked holding out my hand for her. "Of course."she said badly faking a formal accent. I grabbed her waist and she wrapped her arms around my neck. We stared into each others eyes. Array hummed to the music. I pulled a strand of her hair and tucked it behind her ear. I leaned in and so did she. We kissed Array still hummed inside my mouth.

 "I luv yew." "I love you too."
