2D x Reader

Just us outcasts

(R's pov)

I swallowed the pills. Stuart, or 2D, watched me. His eyes met with mine as I gulped the water down. His black sockets gave me chills, but Array was entranced by them. Everybody was all on edge, I could feel it.

Stuart's head turned as did Arrays. A green/tan man strolled in with a cigarette in his hand, not burning. He walked behind Array. She looked up at him.

"Yes?" She asked him.

"We need to talk." He handed her the cigarette.

She stood up, "I'll be right back." She said and patted my head. She walked across to Stu and placed a kids on his head before following Murdoc ( I'm guessing) out, leaving Stu and I.

(Murdocs pov)

I strolled out with Array at my side. Nothing was said as I guided her to the court yard. Ongoing nurses stared at the cigarette placed behind Array and I's ear. We approached the Court yard doors, I opened it for her. She nodded and stepped out.

"You got a light?" "Mines out of fluid."

"Oh ya here." I light her cig.

"What do you want ruco?"

"I just think you and I outta talk, yah know. Just us outcasts." I joked.

"Okay, about what? Is this about-

"Yes, it is, and Rick."

"You mean R."

"Who the fuck is R?"

"Ricks new name, guess he stopped liking Richard."

"Huh," I took a long drag from my cigarette.

"I, just. I feel numb. Like nothing anymore can surprise me." Array shrugged careless shrug.

"Yew know we don' have ta talk about what happend, we really jus' need ta acknowledge it. But I 'eel like ur choosin' to forget 'bout it."

"Okay, fair point, but what if I want to forget about it, what if I need to."

"Ray yew killed ah man. Just know yew can talk to me if you can't talk to 2D."

Array nodded, and stared of with me. She took a long drag. The smoke wrapped around her face like chains. Chains that held her.

"What about R?"

"He can stay at kong, we have to many beds there." Array brushed her hair through her hands.

"You wanna get going, I miss noods."

"Sure."

(R's pov)

2D and I talked, mostly about me. I asked him what he did for a living. Guess Arrays in a band with him, Murdoc, Noodle and Russle. Noodle sounds... interesting. She sounds scary in all honesty.  From the way 2D talked about Murdoc, makes him sound awful. But I've never met him so I have no opinion on the matter, and Array, I've thought of her everyday since I've been gone.  I still, and will probably always regret leaving her with mum.

"How'd yew end up wit Nathan?" 2D asked breaking the silence.

"Its still quite blurry how I got in that house with him. I was driving around, looking for array in our hometown. I stopped at a bar one night. I ordered a drink and sat down staring off into nothing and this dude, taps on my shoulder. I turn around and he shows me a picture of array and asks me if I know her. I said she looked familiar. He asked my name and I have it to him. He pulled me by pressure point out to his car,and I barely remember the rest."

2D looked down and then to me.

"Sorry If I came off a tad rude." "Its jus' i love array and I need her to be happy."

"I feel the exact same, i-im sorry too."
