New hair bad past.

(Murdocs pov)

I woke up in a pile of sweat. "Gah." I face palmed. "What bloody time is it- ARGH 12 PM." I wanted to sleep for at least another 3 hours. I practically fell out of my bed and got dressed. I flicked on my radio. 'Hurricanes comming through. Make sure to stay safe and get all your supplies.' Shit a hurricane. I stepped out of my Winnebago and proceeded to the kitchen. Noodle was getting a second helping of pancakes. "Mornin' noods." Noodle grabbed my arm "ARRAY DYED HER HAIR. IT'S SOOOO PRETTY!!" Noodle screamed at me. Curiously I walked into the living room. Arrays hair was short and Blue. "Woah love the hair." I sat next to 2D. "Thanks noodle helped me." Noodle came jogging in with her food. "I heard on the radio there's gonna be a hurricane later today." I said. All three of them had an alarmed face. "Shood we get sum supplies?" 2D asked. "Yah except tha geep is out of gas." Noodle looked even more concerned. "We can walk it's not supposed to be til later today." Array offered. "You mean you can walk." I corrected her. She shrugged and stood up. Russel walked into the room. "You hear there's gonna be a hurricane?" He asked. "Yah I'm gonna walk down to the city to get some supplies." Array said. "Your not going down there by yourself right?" Russel asked leaning against the door way. "Well ya." She answered. "Nah I'll come with you. Nice haur by the way." Array shrugged.  "Mmkay. Shall we be in our way?" Array asked. "Yah. We'll be back in a few." And with that they were out the door. 

2D continued watching tv and noodle left to her room. I waited for her to be out of earshot before I spoke. "So 2D, ya done it with Array yet?" 2D was shocked and turned to me. "Wha-what?" He stuttered. "I asked have ya done it with Array?" Idiot he heard me the first damn time. "Murdoc thas' an awful personal question." I was getting ticked off and he knew it. "Yes we have for ya information." 2D answered finally. "Well... was she any good?" "MURDOC!!! yes." That dullard. "I hope ya know I'm not datin' her for sex." He huffed. "I know, but why date her? Not that you shouldn't." 2D was pissed I could see it in his face. "She's a great person muds I've known her since my hair turned blue." I guess that makes sense. "Good for you. I won't steal her like paula." That was the last straw for 2D. "FUK YOU MUDS!!" he stormed out. "What a pleasant conversation.

(Russels pov)

It was getting windy down in the city. It was cooler out side for July. Well it was almost the end of July now. Array had her flannel back on. We'd been walking for 45 mins now only 20 more mins until we got to Bjs. Array began to speak "Okay so I think we're definitely going to need flashlights, water, batteries, a better radio, and some food." "Yah that sounds good." Array looked forward, her now blue hair was flowing in the breeze. "Soo what was your childhood like?" I asked trying to get a conversation started. "Well it was okay for the most part I think. It could have been worse. My home life was a little hectic at some points, but I had Stu and our band." She looked at me. "What was yours like?" Array asked in response. "Uh It was a ride. I got possed and I was kicked out of my school. They wouldn't let me back in so I went to a public school, which is where u got into hip hop and I made some friends. Unfortunately they were all killed in a drive by but now del lives inside my head." I said casually. There was obviously a tiny but if tension between Array and I. "I didn't know you and Stu had a band." "Oh yah I sang and played gutair, 2D sang and played piano, while nate played drums. Nates knob. We were called polyester sea." I nodded. "That's cool, I'm glad you'll be on the album we only have one song ghost train." "Oh yah stu-2D told me about that." We approached the Bjs and I was packed full of people. As we approached the doors Array got closer to me. "Let's get flash lights first." We both scurried to all the items that we needed. "Hey lets get a bucket to fill with water in case the water goes off." Array said. We got a bright blue bucket. "Let's pay." We had everything in a big cart. I stood in line to pay. Array was playing with one of the dogs somebody had brought in. "Why would anybody hurt her, she's nice and beautiful?" I asked my self. Soon I was up with the cashier trying to pay. "Is that your girl?" The guy asked "nope, she's my friends girl." "Lucky man, lucky man." he finished ringing me up. "Come in Array." She stood up and left the puppy. "How do you know so much about preparing for hurricanes?" Array skipped next to me. "Well when I was younger my electricity and water would just shut off, like no warning it would just be off. Since my mom was always working I'd have to prepare for if it happened that day." Array answered. I nodded as my response. "You wanna ride in the cart?" I asked. "Do i." Array jumped into the cart as I pushed her back to kong.

(2Ds pov)

I came back down stairs and murdoc was just watching tv. "Russel just texted me, they're on their way back." I told murdoc. "Oi sit down ya dullard." He ordered. I sat down in the chair across from him. "Tell me about array. I feel like I barely know her. You seem to know her like the back if your hand. "Like wut?" 2D asked. "I don't know the basics like her birthday. "Oh well funny thing she was born the same year as me but on Halloween." "She was born on Halloween. Lucky." "Uh she likes dogs. She hates little boys. She can sing pretty well but you already knew that, her favorite cola' is blue, she used to skateboard like a pro, she has stolen from every store in my hometown, She used to work in a secks shop ironically she judt wanted to see the people who came in there. I'm pretty sure she don't have a dad. She had a brother but he disappeared when she was like 6 from what I know he was 12 and ran away. Her hair is naturally red/Orange. That's pretty much it for what I can tell you." He finished. "Wat ya mean 'for what I can tell you?" He hesitated. "Well I mean there are personal 'fings I'm sure she wouldn't want to tell you lyke abuse and wot not." I guess that made sense. "She won't have a fone does she?" I asked. "No she left it at nates." "We outta go get it back after this hurricane." I offered. 2D looked concerned. "I mean if she wants too, I don't 'fink it's very safe there but I suppose you and her could go. You are tha one who's into stealin'." I can understand why 2D wouldn't want her to go. But I'm sure she left a lot more there that she would want. "WE'RE BACK!" Array screamed. Noodle came jogging through the hallway to meet her. Array gave noodle a big hug. "We got two flashlights for everyone, another first aid kit, we got plenty of snacks and a bucket to fill with water in case the water gets turned off." Russ  explained. He gave the bucket to Array to fill up. "You'll have to do it with the hose out back, I think you noticed the bath only has cold water around now." I followed Array out back.

She turned on the hose and let it run. "Hey." She sat next to me keeping an eye on the bucket. "How was your day?" She thought for a split second. "Oh it was wonderful, you know what noodle called me?" "What?" "She called me mommy in front of the cashier woman at the beauty store. And when she asked me why I was so happy I said 'you called me mommy. ' she goes 'well I love you like one.'" Arrays face was beaming with obvious joy. "That's awesome." My toes were wet. I looked down and the bucket had over flowed. "Shit." Array paced to the hose and turned it off. "Help me carry this would ya'." I helped her carry it inside. We set it on the table.

(Noodles pov)

We were all sitting waiting patiently for the storm to come. Everybody was on the couch. 2D and array were talking while russel and murdoc did a puzzle. I was on my game boy getting bored. When I was least expecting it the was a loud thunder and rain pouring down very fast. I jumped up. It is scary, it's so loud. I've never even witnessed a hurricane. Array glanced at me and I nervously smiled and waved. She looked concerned I could see it in her eyes. "You wanna build a fort with me noodle?" She stood up and walked over to me. I nodded at her. "This will hopefully take your mind off the rain. We'll have to build it quickly before the lights go out." Array held my hand as she led me to her and 2Ds room. I grabbed his comforter and sheets. Array got some more sheets out of the closet. We walked back and set the blankets in the living room behind russel and Murdoc. 2D stood up to help us. " 'Ets get sum chairs. Ta hol' it up." 2D suggested. We got four chairs and arranged them in a square. 2D got a nail and hammer and nailed the middle of one of the sheets to the ceiling making a tp almost. We then stapled sheets to the end of the first sheet to make it bigger. We hooked the ends of that to the four chairs. Soon we had a HUGE hut.  Array laied two bed comforters on the floor as a cushion. Murdoc turned around, "wow." "No boys allowed!" I yelled. 2D frowned. "Except 2D." 2D smiled in scurried into the tent. BOOM the power flickered out. I held onto Array tightly. "Its okay we have flashlights, and snacks." Array handed 2D and I flashlights. She then pulled out a tub full of snacks, and smiled. I snuggled on between array and 2D as they both made shadow puppets.  2D got out of the tent to 'grab his CD player.' He brought it back to us so we could listen to music. I assumed russel and murdoc had gone to bed already. 2D came back and turned it on he played The Album American Weekend by Waxahatchee. Rose, 1956 in particular. I fell asleep in Array and 2Ds arms.
