The next morning, we were on our horses and ready to go by six a.m. Our bags were packed and strapped to the backs of the saddles. We reached the campsite by eight and were completely set up by ten.

“Today is the day-long scavenger hunt. You will pair up with another worker and search for the things on the list. Whoever finds the most things gets the prize,” the manager explained. I smiled slyly at Tristan and rode over to him.

Once everyone was paired up, they sent us off. Tristan and I automatically went to the lake. Tristan showed me a bag with all of the items on the scavenger hunt. I laughed and dismounted.

“It would look a little odd if we came back empty handed,” he explained. “Now we have a lot more time.” He smiled. I slipped off my jeans and polo shirt to expose my green halter bikini top and bikini bottoms. Tristan stripped into his black swim shorts. Without looking back, I cannon-balled into the lake. Tristan came in after me. I swam over to him smiling and treaded. He came up a few seconds later and smiled.

I splashed him and we played for a bit before I started getting tired. He held my hand and pulled me to a part of a lake where we could stand. My fingers rested on the edge of his shorts. I bit my lip and smiled as my fingers slipped down.

“I think we should take a break from the water for a second,” I smiled devilishly. We sat on the blanket I brought. He chuckled before kissed me as he hovered over me.

My fingers ran down his chest to his shorts. I arched as his finger slowly untied the back of my top. His lips came down to my stomach. I trembled and let my head drop back. I gripped his shoulders and whimpered underneath him as lips went lower until they were on the edge of my bikini bottoms. I gasped for breath as my eyes shut tightly. He chuckled and brought his lips up to my neck. He kissed it fiercely and lowered the lower half of his body closer to me. His nose ran up to my ear and he kissed me softly. I moaned softly and arched my back more. He chuckled and placed his hands on my hips.

“You’re so adorable,” he whispered huskily. He kissed my neck roughly and I moaned loudly.

“Stop teasing me; it’s driving me crazy,” I breathed. He chuckled and brought his lips back to my stomach. I whimpered and trembled.

“But teasing you is easy. You have lots of places that make you… react. Like here,” he said huskily kissing just above my bellybutton. He continued to demonstrate. He kissed my neck, my stomach, and my inner thigh. I was squirming the whole time.

“Tristan, that’s not funny,” I whined. He blew on my stomach and smiled. I let out a breath and wiggled against him. He brought his lips to mine and kissed me deeply. I wrapped my legs around him and gripped his hair. He grunted and pressed his hips against mine roughly. I squealed and arched up to him. He pressed against me harder. I held his cheek and pulled back a bit. I searched his eyes for a second. He was searching my eyes just as intensely.

“I love you,” he smiled softly. I smiled back.

“I love you too,” I whispered.

We ended up making it back to the campsite four hours later. Despite the time, we won the scavenger hunt. We handed in the items and Tristan started on making the fire.

Our prize was a bonus on our next paycheck. It was right around sunset when the other groups started spilling in. I was surprised that it took that long for the others to find everything. Tristan and I went a few rounds before we finally came back to camp.

When the sun finally set, everyone was back and sitting around the campfire. I sat across the fire from Tristan, but I would catch him smiling at me every now and then. I would smile back discreetly. I mostly stayed quiet during dinner. Alyssa nudged me.

“Hey… you’ve been awfully quiet today. Who do you keep looking at?” she smiled. She looked across the fire while I stared at my hands. “Do you like Eric?” she asked. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes and just stayed quiet. Eric was only seventeen like me. He had dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He was relatively attractive.

“I’m so going to hook you up,” she giggled. I looked at her shocked.

“Please, don’t do that,” I said quietly. She giggled and went to sit next to Eric. I sighed and rested my head in my hands. Tristan raised an eyebrow at me and I rolled my eyes. Alyssa skipped back over to me.

“He likes you too Holly,” she squealed softly. “He’s going to ask you out tomorrow, but you weren’t supposed to know that.” She explained happily. I smiled fakely and thanked her. With a quick look to Tristan I went to where the horses were tied up away from the fire. Tristan was there two seconds later.

“What’s going on?” Tristan asked. I ran my fingers through my hair before I crossed my arms.

“Alyssa is trying to hook me up with Eric and he’s going to ask me out tomorrow,” I said softly. Tristan cringed a bit and crossed his arms as well. “I’m going to say yes.” I whispered quietly.  He froze and looked at me.
