An Abrupt Greeting

A certain French young man awoke to blinding sunlight. His eyes closed in reflex. With a disgruntled yawn, he rolled out of bed and dreaded to his dresser.
While preparing for the day, he mind wandered to the unfortunate events that paraded down on a friend. He knew it was worrisome to stay in the comfort of his house, however, the scenes of the very moment unfolded in his thoughts when he least expected it.
Saiyo stalked forward towards the group. Eyes flickering to a glinting object behind him that pried his eyes away. In a matter of seconds, cold steel flew threw the air; ushering blood onto some of the surroundings of the knife's victim.
Roy gripped his head in attempt to ease the the visions out of his brain. Although, it would probably haunt until Saiyo returned to a normal state. It was hard to believe that his bond affinity would cause him to do such drastic things, but in the end anything is possible.
Roy slid down stairs. The sight of his mother dancing around the small kitchen to cook relieved him of his stress. Most likely the reason for his absence is perhaps his mother's free spirit.
"Hello mamá!" He sang in greeting. A small smile spread across his face.
"Good morning~, I believe someone promised me to go to the grocery store?" A frown replaced Roy's happiness. He had forgotten prior to the happening, and would really appreciate if his mother didn't bring up the discussion of going outside.
"But mama-"
"No Buts! You been a hermit for the past week, go get some fresh air money amí!" Roy's mother shoved her son towards the direction of the front door. Roy exaggerated a groan with a hint of a slight whine. He slipped on a pair of shoes stored off to the side of the house entrance.
A wave of heat brushed past the French teen as he stepped to the outside. The Sun beat down mercilessly on him, burning, unforgiving, rays. Even birds retired to abandoned bat nest under bridges. On cloudless days like these, it'd be best if you didn't go outside at all. How unfortunate for people like you who have to endure it.
Roy set out on his conquest to the grocery store. A wasted ten minute stroll from the house, yet irregularly satisfying in some views. Of course, Roy would be the only person to enjoy the intense bipolar weather.
Walking alone on the streets felt very, uncomfortable. Maybe due to the fact that most of Roy's human contact was cut off he felt impaired. Then there was this odd factor tugging at him. His conscious kept reminding him over and over to check behind him, but whenever he swished his head around there would be nothing to be spotted.
His pace quickened along with an uprising feeling to get a move on. The beat of his heart thumping rapidly with each footstep. With a swift turn of a his head, he spotted a shadow getting increasingly closer.
Roy spun on his heel, confronting whomever decided to follow him. A familiar person cracked a smirk. Violet eyes glinting in the showering sunlight.
"Well, it's about time you figured me out." (Y/n)'s younger brother, Saiyo, stood combing through his bangs. Roy's eyes widened; he retreated backwards cautiously.
"I've been missing sis soo much!~ So hey, why don't you give her back?"
