This chapter continues on with the main route. I know some people are like, "what the frick is a route?" I called the main story a route because if someday this story was turned into an Otome game; I would be prepared!
The morning call carressed your ears with soft sounds of the day beginning. The wind whistled along to birds chirping in delight after a bug feast the night before. Cars purred leaving the tall building you were silently counting sheep in.
A silky object of some sort petted you away with soothing strokes on your head. Not knowing or caring for what it was, you leaned into its comforting touch.
Pleasured by your affection, you cooed out happily. A voice mused at you.
"Your like a kitten~" the owner of the voice giggled. You frowned as the hand slid off your head and tugged a bit at your cheek. Your eyes wriggled open to a surprise.
It was Arthur. He was awake and alive (that's a song :D). Bandages wrapped down the side of his face covering up his right unrighted eye. The sight brought you back to the verge of tears.
"It's alright." His hand traveled farther down, easing over your back.
"I'm sorry Authur." You laid your head onto his lap. He sighed resting his palm on top of your noggin.
"It's okay! I told you, its not your fault!" His soothing words relaxed your muscles.
"I-" As you spoke, Kiriyu burst through the doors of the small emergency room. He eyebrows furrowed and his crimson eyes glistened.
"Dude, what the hell happened?!" He yelled louder than his mumbling voice usually protruded.
"Kiriyu please calm down! It's not good to put the patient in anxiety." You shushed him and he lowered his tone.
"Sorry, just tell me what happened. " He stared down blankly.
"Arthur was repaying a debt by feeding me during lunch, then, suddenly Saiyo appeared and slashed at his face!" You felt heated with the broken kinship between you and your brother. You no longer felt related to him these past few weeks due to violence and stalking.
"When are being discharged?" Kiriyu met Arthur eye to eye finally.
""A couple days from now." Arthur smiled. Probably happy that he'll be able to leave this bland hospital and flee to his mansion.
"He'll be out soon. Then the gang can get back together." You grinned along, but frowned as the thought of poor Roy traumatized by the very scene of an attempted murder.
"Still, I don't know about Roy. He most likely won't show up at school for a while..." You felt the need to blame yourself. Maybe somehow you could've prevented this, but nothing flooded your mind that would do any help.
"It's alright! I'll swing by his house later to see how's he doing. He is the one who told me about what happened, so I owe it to him." Kiriyu waved his hands.
"Thank you, I wouldn't be able to do it myself."
You and Kiriyu left. You wished you could be of some assistance, but considering the state of your well being, it wasn't possible. All you could do was hope for the best with Roy, then try to rest yourself for school the next day.I was thinking about the last few chapters and noticed. If I had Roy and Arthur injured, I would've made four endings. Knocking out four birds with one stone! Instead, we'll have to do with two endings so far for now.
