Chewing at a clenched fist, Roy dialed 911 with his other hand. His entire body convulsed as he executed the action. His shaky trip to the hospital was proof enough of the precautions he should be taking. As much as he didn't want to believe Saiyo had the heart to hurt Y/N as he did to him, it was still a mystery as to how she ended up in the hospital. Despite knowing his undying love for Y/N, he was still well aware of the monster lurking in him and couldn't fathom what could've happened if one of his tantrums was turned onto his sister.
An abrupt silence came about as Roy, as patiently as he could, waited for the phone to pick up. Each and every second being accounted for with fragile composure. When the automated message for emergency categories spoke, he gasped in alarm and dropped his phone into the grooves of his couch. Interrupting his call was another from Kiriyu. It flashed on the screen vigorantly beyond Roy's trembling eyes. He hadn't spoken to him often since the last incident so it was quite the surprise for him to call out of the blue. It's not like they had anything in common beside Y/N.
Tap, tap and Kiriyu was only an earful of muffled jumbled words in his ear. The anxiety was already high enough without Kiriyu's yelling.
"Kiriyu!" Roy's accent spat into the phone. It took an effort for him to not reach through the phone and grab him by the ear. "I can't-- something has to be done." Kiriyu stood on the other side of the phone, not quite registering what he said. "..." Roy spoke again, reaffirming himself. "Y/N is not safe there! There's not much time left..."
Kiriyu knew that at some point, action would be required to be taken. As much as Y/N stalled for Saiyo to get better, it wasn't realistic for him to suddenly recover from the unspoken trauma that they went through. He hung up on the phone. Poor Roy, unaware of what was about to come, slumped over in defeat. Kiriyu marched forward. He took two things with him, his phone and a bat.
