Although the world on the outside stirred your thoughts, you hesitated to wake from your slumber. Why should you implant yourself in the chaos just to end up in meaningless fights all over again. You were tired of being mentally ransacked and your innocent friends being harmed. Perhaps the solitude of your daydream was trying to tell you something?
Kiriyu rested his arms at his sides in a hopeless swing. His eyes were pinned to Saiyo's smug looking face. The raging hatred that he couldn't control trembled in his palms. Saiyo once again ran a hand through your hair. Letting each strand slowly drop accordingly.
"Tell me!!!" Kiriyu drops on his knees clenching his pants with a bear grip. His eyes twitch feverently as her tries to hold back his regretful tears.
Saiyo let out a cackle, drawing his hand over your neck. At the same time, he stared him down with pure predator eyes. You began to feel an immense pressure closing down on your throat. You jolted up in a heavily choke in attempt to grasp air.
"What are you doing!!?" Kiriyu immediately dived forward instinctually to protect you, but stopped when he saw the grip get tighter which made you foam a bit from the mouth.
"No... what are you...?"
"Listen before I break something beautiful beyond words!"
"If you take another step.... no. Just leave quietly and nothing will happen. Chase her down and I'll take care of you right here and have a little part prepared when she wakes up!"
Kiriyu painfully rotated away, his internal sobs aching in his stomache. He felt the churning agony but he didn't have any power over Saiyo.
And just like that, he was left alone with her.
