I rolled over in my bed, feeling sweat coat my skin as the covers became too much heat to bear. I whined annoyed, as I kicked them off of me adjusting my body, so I could get comfortable again. Sighing in content, I laid there for a minute, staring at my pretty pink walls, before hearing the growl of my stomach. I looked over at my princess clock, seeing it was 10:20, about the time mommy and daddy made breakfast. I happily slipped out of bed, sliding my feet into my fuzzy bunny slippers, before skipping down the stairs. 

I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion when I didn't smell any bacon, eggs, or pancakes. I walked into the kitchen, and didn't see mommy or daddy or Haz. I whined, as my stomach continue to growl. I huffed before turning around heading back up the stairs to wake my parents up to make me breakfast. How was everyone still asleep? It's so late! 

I went to mommy and daddy's room, and noticed the door was wide open. Yay! They are awake! I can eat now! I excitedly ran into the room, before I stopped quickly. Where is everything? The entire room once filled with everything my parents loved, was empty. I looked over and seen Haz standing in the corner of the room looking down. I whimpered sadly. Where's mommy? Where's daddy? 

"H-Haz?" He looked up at me, and shook his head slowly. No! They wouldn't have left us! Harry walked towards me, and gave me a tight hug. 

"I'm okay." His voice was small, and he was putting on a brave face. 

"You're okay." I copied him, finding some kind of relief knowing Haz was alright. 

He nodded his head, "We're okay." 

He hugged me again, and I looked around the room. I felt something inside of me break, and immediately I felt torn. I felt my eyes start to burn, and Haz looked down at me quickly wiping my eyes. 

"No, no no. No crying, Mira. Promise me, you won't cry."  

I hiccuped trying to keep tears from falling and nodded my head wrapping my pinky around his, '"I promise Haz." 

He smiled at me, before ruffling my hair. 

"Haz, why did mommy and daddy leave?" 

He shook his head at my words, "Do you want pancakes, Mira?" 

I stared at him, sad he wouldn't answer my question, but nodded my head yes to pancakes. He smiled at me, and walked downstairs. When I was sure he was all the way downstairs, I plopped down in the middle of the empty room. 

I sat there looking around the room. The paintings mommy loved so much were gone. The carpet daddy loved so much was gone too. The big bright mirror mommy loved was gone as well. And the expensive TV daddy loved was gone along with it. Everything mommy and daddy loved so much, they took with them.. 

So how come they left us?
