"Who's Javy?"

"Childhood friend.....we were neighbours noon.....his family migrated to Australia...I saw him at the mall kanina....we had coffee....then he offered to help me carry up what I bought...."

"OA ka naman....date agad?.....and why are you jealous?"

"Because...."

"Because I don't want to lose the only girl I've kept my heart for all these years....I thought nga na nawala ka na talaga...na you had disappeared from my life....that's why I hooked up with Abigail....then I realized na hindi sya ang gusto ko talaga...."

"So....parang wala lang sya sa yo?"

"No naman...I cared for her also....but we talked....I learned that she also felt the same...that our relationship was a bit shallow....yun, we separated....she hooked up with Collin....they got married recently....when Dad told me about your scholarship, I flew to Chicago and looked for you...."

"I moved to Boston..."

"Yun nga....so I went to Boston also....I saw you on campus....na-torpe ulit....but I was happy to see that you were okay...."

"How did you know I returned to Manila na?"

"I didn't....I lost hope of ever seeing you again, actually...then, a week after I arrived from the States, Mom suggested I work for our business....I went to Resurge to check on things.....but, as soon as I stepped into the lobby, memories of my stay flashed back....."

Chuck leaned in to kiss Dei. As their faces got closer to each other, Chuck had to look away because he sneezed! They laughed at this mishap and just embraced tightly.

"So....are you going to call Javy?"

"I heard him say, 'call me...'..."

"Ahh...yeah....he wants to see Nanay and Tatay also....so I said we'd have dinner or something...."

"Ok..."
