Dei woke up with a headache. She groggily got up and walked into the bathroom with eyes half-closed. She sat down on the toilet to pee. On the sink beside her stood a naked Chuck, eyes also closed due to sleepiness, brushing his teeth.

Dei sneezed.

"Bless you!" Chuck automatically replied.

Startled, Dei opened her eyes and turned to the voice. The first thing she saw was Chuck's butt cheek which was about a foot away from her!

"Aaaaay!" Dei said as she covered her eyes.

"What the!?" Chuck said, covering his groin with his hand, dropping his toothbrush in the sink.

Dei immediately finished her business and run out the door, pulling up her panties.  "Sorry....sorry....!" She said from behind the door.

"Uh! Shet! Sorry!" Chuck said as he reached for his towel to cover up.

"Susmaryosep! Anong nangyari? Ahh teka....dito nga pala natulog si Dei kagabi....may bagyo e..."

"Dei....I'm sorry....do you need to use the bathroom? I'm done na..." Chuck said when he got out of the bathroom.

Dei didn't respond.

"Dei?" He repeated as he came closer. Only the top of her head could be seen from under the covers.

She sneezed again as she pulled the comforter off her face.

She looked different....a bit flushed but her eyes were closed.

Chuck reached for her shoulder to nudge her awake.  Dei only slightly moaned.  When he touched her forehead, he felt that she was feverish.

Chuck went to the bathroom and got face towel which he wet and put it on Dei's forehead.  He then got her phone and tried finding her home number.

"Hmm....naka-lock.....good job, Dei...."

He called Resurge and luckily, he was able to talk to Grace who gave him Dei's emergency number from her file.

"Thanks, Grace!"

"You're welcome, Sir..."

"Hello....Mrs. Capili? ....Si Chuck po ito..."

"Chuck?"

"Chuck Faulkner....good morning po..."

"G...good morning....wala si Dei dito....di pa nga umuuwi mula kagabi...."

"...She's here with me po.."

"Huh?"

"Nasiraan sya ng sasakyan kagabi....tinulungan ko po..."

"Ah ganun ba? Salamat...."

"....I let her stay over na rin po kasi may bagyo din po...baha na po sa labas..."

"...ay oo...naku! maraming salamat talaga....pero, asan si Dei?"

"Natutulog po...nilalagnat din po..."

"Anong nangyari?"

"Nabasa po kami ng ulan nung pumutok yung gulong nung kotse nya kagabi...."

"Ah ganun ba? Naku...pasensya na sa abala...."

"It's okay po....I had her car serviced na rin po....kung okay lang po sa inyo, dito nalang muna si Dei hanggang bumaba ang lagnat nya...."

"...Ahh....sige.....balitaan mo nalang kami ng Papa nya kung kamusta na sya...."

"Opo...will do po..."

Making sure that Dei was comfortable and sleeping restfully, Chuck cooked some soup.  An hour later, while Chuck was changing the towel on Dei's forehead, she stirred and moaned.  She opened her eyes slowly.

"....How do you feel?" Chuck said softly; smiling, and gently stroking her cheek.

"....headache...." Dei replied. Seconds later, she realized that she wasn't in her bed or house that she quickly tried to get up.

"No...lay down...it's okay....you have a fever...."

Dei sneezed.

"Bless you!" Chuck gave Dei some tissues.

"Thank you....but I have to go home....nakakhiya na...." Dei said as she tried to get up again.

"Psssh! No worries....do you want something to eat?" Chuck held Dei's shoulders and lay her back down on the bed.

"No Chuck...nakakahiya na talaga...."

"I insist....besides, you can't leave....your car is at the shop, remember..."

"O shoot!"

"....and it's raining outside....the streets are flooded because of the storm...." Chuck said as he looked over to the window near the bed. "...so, just stay here and let me get you some food.....you took care of me before....it's my turn now...."
