A/N: Before this story continues further on,I'd like to say it might not be long since it started as a short story in my head and currently at the moment, I'm hellbent on needing  to write for another short Yandere series so maybe updates for this story will be delayed cause honestly I can't seem to write fully for this story when the other is dogging me too strongly so for that I sincerely apologize and I hope you can understand. This chapter was rushed for those of you who waited and I really hope it's good enough. Again,I'm sorry if this is,frankly speaking, utter shit. Thank you for reading and supporting! Please vote to help others find this story and let me know what you think about it up until now in the comments! Love you Creepers ~ See ya! <3 XOXO

When her phone buzzed in her hand where she clutched to it tightly, [Name] jolted awake from her eery trance of thoughts. Her eyes drifted to the screen as her finger swiped it open. There was a notification for one new message—The contact name 'Aries Warnefleet' was the sender.

A numb shiver ran down her spine.

"Keep the doors locked. Windows closed and curtains down. Go upstairs, don't touch the body and move him to the bed. Drag him if you have to. Don't answer any calls or messages that aren't from me. I'll notify you when I arrive via text but you don't need to reply. Don't come and answer the door too, just stay still and leave the rest to me"

Every single word during that bleak fifteen second call was blatantly a command. An order. Aries had never used such assertiveness on her. She had never called Aries to tell her about the dead body continuing to rot in her kitchen floor either. Her words echoed in [Name]'s head like haunting wails. The call they had was at late in the afternoon—It was now almost ten o'clock. She'd waited for Aries to text her in such a dreadfully anticipating state but now,as she read the the two words on her telephone screen, something inside of her twisted. She felt sick.

She glanced at Levi on her bed, eyes closed and covered in his own blood. Too pale it scared her. He hadn't moved since and his breathing was too shallow. She couldn't think straight. Why did she feel so empty?

A distinctive 'click' downstairs took her attention away from him and made her stood up. Then, she heard a door slowly open before it closed again the next second. For a few still minutes,[Name] could only stare at her bedroom door as she heard light footsteps thudding up the stairs, pausing at moments to check the other two rooms which were her study and an extra smaller bedroom for guests before it stopped in front of her door.

From the other side came a knock. She didn't move. Then came a second one. She drew in an overly reflective breath, moved quietly towards the door and waited until the third knock came along with a familiar voice.

"Open up,it's me"

"...Aries?"

"Yeah"

Grasping the doorknob and yanking it open, [Name] didn't even bother to waste a second as she flung herself at the other. Hands gripping tightly onto the slightly taller Aries's body for support as she let her own fall into the embrace. The cry she forced down those few hours ago finally bursted and her eyes stung.

In Aries's reluctant arms, her emotions ate her up.

                     ************

"Akashi is here too?",[Name] asked with the clear hint of surprise in her slightly reddened eyes. Next to Levi,Aries continued to idly examine him as an indifferent hum escapes her lips.

Said girl had been oddly distant ever since she arrived.

[Name] fought the urge to fidget in her seat, the handkerchief Aries has given her while her tears infested her eyes an hour ago still gratefully clutched in her hand. The now damp cloth still smelled of lavender.

If Akashi was here then it surely meant he came to help. Probably with the dead body of young Hubert in the kitchen. She shivered at the thought. But it must be why he came along as well—The male was always aiding if Aries was asked to help with any favours. It was as if him being by her side was a constant need. She found it cute. Aries however, always turned cold.

'She was cold with Levi too'

The thought crossed her mind without a second's thought and when their eyes met briefly, she couldn't really say she recognized the girl at all. There was something off with the way her eyes gleamed. It was..unsettling.

In the bed,Levi stirred and Aries stood up.

"He'll be okay as long you manage him properly",Aries stated nonchalantly as if [Name] was supposed to know exactly what 'manage him properly' meant. Raising a query brow,Aries took seconds to read her uncertainty and returned it with a sigh.

"He's sick, [Name]",she said, coldly."Very sick and not just physically, that's one thing you need to know and understand"

"I do—"

"No",she held [Name]'s gaze. "You don't. You would've sent him back to the hospital if you did but you didn't—You thought being kind would help"

A pregnant silence came over them both. [Name] stilled. Aries sighed and warily shook her head.

"Kindness is great and all",she began as she tidied up her medical supplies. "But,sometimes it's just as useless as trying to cut water. Things happen and we can't always avoid them"

Her hand grasped [Name]'s shoulder. Aries smiled her first smile ever since arriving. Reassuring but reluctant.

"You leave him to me and he'll be okay but you have to trust me. Do you?"

"Of course I do"

[Name]'s eyes made Aries's insides twist with guilt. Remorse. Disgust.

"You're the only one I can"

She didn't reply and instead nodded curtly before ushering her to follow her outside of the room. Akashi had stated all the tedious work would be done within three hours and three hours had passed. There was no need to ask if it had been done. They all knew it would.

"If it's too soon,I'll come back tomorrow so you can...talk to him about it—Ease him into the idea, prepare him or whatever you feel would help him with the new change. I bet he trusts you enough to listen otherwise he wouldn't have come to you"

"What about the hospital?"

Hubert's absence must have gone noticed. What if they came tomorrow as well?

Aries smiled but it was a mere gesture and it held no real emotion behind it. "Don't worry about it"

[Name] hesitated for a while before meeting once more with the other's gaze. "He'll get better? Soon?". She needed confirmation or else she wouldn't be able to function properly. When she got so attached to him,she wasn't sure but she was now. There wasn't any use to deny it.

"Soon"

"Okay then",she smiled genuinely. "Thank you,Aries"

Again there was no reply, only a curt nod before they embraced each other and said their goodbyes.

"You don't have to see me out, just watch him and get some rest yourself"

Those were Aries's last words and then, she took her leave. Smiling at the gratitude swelling in her chest, [Name] barely noticed the second layered intentions lurking within her friend. She was just too off guard. Too immature. Still so blind.

'You're the only I can trust,Aries',she said.

'Sorry but not this time, [Name]',was what Aries had wanted to say and really she meant it.
