"[Y/N]?" Aries stood at the door with her eyes widened in shock. The familiar yet unfamiliar sight of the girl had warning lights go off in her head. The last time they met, [Y/N] didn't have eyes that resembled tampered steel nor did she have the languid movements of a predator.

'What happened?' Was all she could afford to ask herself yet the longer her eyes studied the girl, no answers came.

"Oh" Was all the girl said as she dropped her gaze to the ground briskly before lifting it up to meet with Aries's again. Even her tone was different. Aries was familiar with the timid softness of her childhood friend's voice not the low sombreness she heard then, and her confusion must've showed in her face because the stranger girl then smiled---Grinned to be precise--- Either dryly or wolfishly she wasn't sure but it made her brows furrow.

"You're not [Y/N]"

"Mm..Second one today, but it doesn't really solve your problems does it..?"

The girl opened the door wider, stepped aside and rose her brows. Aries stared into the hallway but didn't move until the girl shrugged and went ahead first.

"Who are you?" Aries asked sharply as she followed from behind. Her voice seemed to echo through the walls and reverberated within her but she steeled her nerves and temper, then waited for  a reply that came in a sickly sweet voice.

"Who I am and who you are, isn't it all the same questions? I find it funny that people ask that to others like the answers are all written in bold somewhere they can see and give" She stopped walking and spared a glance, her blurry eyes staring right through Aries like a plague through a mist of wind.

"Either way" She faced ahead again and added rather dryly " None of us can answer it on the spot so it's pointless"

They were entering the living room now and Aries frustratingly wanted to pull the girl to the side and make her answer her questions but another figure in the room caught her attention, and she reigned her temper in.

Levi sat crossed-legged on one of the leather couch, a book in one hand while the other rested on his lap. His gaze lazily lifted to meet with Aries then slowly, he dropped it back to the book and silence filled the room.

It was an odd atmosphere, more so for Aries rather than the other two who seemed to have had this restrained air of calmness between each other, and it made her even more agitated when they shared a brisk and wordless conversation.
