A/N: Wow,look who's on the roll. Hah. I hope you guys are enjoying this frequency of mine,God knows, it rarely shows up TwT Anyway, here's another chapter and with a hint of my exaggerated (plus badly) written intimacy scene between Reader-chan and Levi ~!

"Hurt myself? I wasn't hurting myself. I was trying to kill myself you dim witted brat. Don't you see?  You're all the same. Each and everyone one of you. I don't need your help. I don't need you. You're useless to me."

His words echoed in her mind—Reverberated within her soul. Made her heart clenched. But it wasn't because they hurt her—Not because he said such mean things. But because each and every syllable in his words reflected a broken man who gave up on living years ago.

It brought back memories she buried at the back of her mind. Memories she spent years trying to get over. Memories of a man she loved with all her heart but didn't managed to save him. And just like Levi, he was tragically beautiful. The love she lost years ago couldn't possibly be put into words.

She ran out the moment he said those words and haven't visited even once—It's been a week now. The hospital had called her numerous times but she didn't answer any of them—Still too shaken to face him. Still learning to see through cracks.

Outside where the wind howled and the sun drowned into the sky, rain drummed against her windows as it poured over District Maria. Sitting on her sofa, staring blankly at the black screen of her TV,[Name] was desperately trying to rid her mind from Levi Ackerman.

How was he? What was he doing? Was he still alive? Did he still want to die?

The questions swirled and weighed her down. She was grateful she was on her midterm break—The thought of school and her need to keep up good grades made things worse. Everything everyone had told her about him—She couldn't say they were right or wrong. They said he was cold and he was, his grey eyes seemed as if they'd seen nothing but death and sorrow. They said he was rude and harsh—He cursed at her a fair amount of times. They said he was cursed.

He's not. He's not cursed—Just...alone. Scared. Misunderstood. Just like...

She shook the memory away before it even had the chance to surface and stood up. Heaving out a heavy sigh before frowning, gripping the blanket around her tightly as the rain grew more demanding and coldness began enveloping the room. Slumping back into the comfort of her sofa,[Name] was about to rest her tired eyes when the house phone rang.

Her eyes shot opened and a surge of urgency washed over her. She lifted her head and slowly got up again, walking towards the table where the phone was placed. It continued to ring and ring and ring until it stopped. [Name] stared at it and almost screamed when it rung again. The urgency from before grew stronger. She felt her body tensed, her lungs momentarily seized.

The phone continued to ring. Hesitance gripped onto her and fear shackled her wits. She stood, looming over the phone and let it's constant ringing drove her senses to the edge until it finally stopped. The entire room turned as cold as death, tension hovered like blinding grey clouds. She heard the rain tapping against her windows as if asking to be let in and wondered why she was so scared of answering her own house phone.
