If rage had eyes—[Name] wouldn't be surprised if they were  piercing grey orbs set beneath dark brows because the unsettling hard gaze on her seemed to burn as it held her trapped with awareness which left her vulnerable. Transparent. A prey caught in between its predator's jaws.

The moment she reentered the living room and caught Levi's gaze from the kitchen's doorframe where he casually leaned against it,she was somehow perfectly aware of his disapproval of the earlier incidents.

"I don't trust her. Neither should you."

His words echoed in her head—Slightly unnerved her. He had said it blandly and bluntly, it was clear he was serious. But, Aries had been a friend of hers even before she was moved to District Maria —She was one of the few people [Name] found comfort in being with during those painful years she was forced to go through after....him. Aries had helped her—She had helped Levi. And she would do it again if [Name] asked her for it. What was it that made him not trust her?

The solution didn't come to her as quickly as she wanted it to.

Standing in the hall to where the living room was,she only met with the other's studious gaze in silence. His arms crossed, jaws clenched, eyes narrowed; If he didn't seem so intimidating at the moment, she'd have pointed out how attractive his mere stance was and how hard she tried to keep her sudden flush mild. He wasn't that tall, she could stare directly into his eyes without having to crane her neck yet she didn't really have to bend down to look at them either—Her neighbour Eren was taller than him. Yet,there was something else that made up for his height. The way his presence overwhelmed the room and her—How his posture mirrored his self dignity and would automatically make others shrink back or how his gaze raked her entire existence as if he himself was a sentient being who lived a thousand years.

He was...dominant. And very, very male.  She'd never been in such a tense situation with any other male before. Her voice was simply lost from shock. His wasn't.

"What did she say to you,[Name]?",it wasn't a question. He was demanding her. She needed to reply and when she didn't,his gaze turned into steel.

"[Name]",tone dropping, Levi pushed away from the doorframe and walked towards her. Once close enough,he placed his hand under her chin and jerked her forward. Her breath hitched, body tensed, eyes wavered—All under his grasp. A sensual shudder ran through him. His eyes glazed, he brought their faces closer—Lips mere inches away from touching.

"What did she say to you?"

Levi's voice was honey poured over shards of poisonous glass. It stirred her skittish nerves and her heart swelled —With what, she wasn't sure.

His grip was firm and the way those grey orbs stared at her with distorted need caught her in a trancing silence. It felt too heavy to even open her mouth to utter breathless gasps. Those eyes of his dangerously made her forget —About everything.

When had young girls her age learned to tease so ardent yet absently? He was reaching the age of twenty in a few months but the age gap between her and him was easy to read. He was the adult and she was the child. Yet,here she was, having the actual gall to look at him with such glazed, such invitation,such...it drove his senses to the edge. Made his frustration grow even stronger — Did she stare at Aries with similar eyes? Was anyone else tempted with her subconscious teasing? Something dark twisted inside him. Something so adulterous wasn't allowed. At all. He wouldn't let her do so. Nobody other than himself was allowed to see it. Nobody but him could have her presence.

Nobody but him will keep her ensnared. She was his. To hold. To keep. To love. To hate. His to assure. His to break and twist. Any other alternative wasn't accepted. [Name] belonged to him.

With her so close to him and their lips almost brushing against each other,Levi was set on kissing her until she lacked the capability to breath—Until she needed him to support her trembling body, but just when he was about to, the doorbell rang and a voice called out from the other side of the door.

"Ms. [Last Name], this is Hubert from the Saint Grace Hospital. Are you home? I was sent to check over your residence regarding the current situation with Mr. Ackerman—Can you please, open the door?"

Anyways, hope you enjoy this chapter! (The next one will be a bit gruesome?
