It had been nearly a week since I saw Liam last, even though we texted and talked on the phone everyday. And today, I was cleaning my room. I wore yoga shorts and a sports bra with my hair pulled into a bun on the top of my head and I picked up while listening to music.
"Samantha!" I heard Arielle yell from downstairs.
I turned off the music and jumped down the stairs.
"What's up slut?" I asked as I went into the front room, "Oh."
Liam stood next to her.
"I was just coming by to see if you two would like to go to Niall's with me? The boy's are all bringing their lady friends and Niall and I will be alone otherwise, figured you girls would like to meet some people," he smiled.
"Oh man, that's overwhelming," Arielle said, sitting on the back of the couch.
"Give me like 5 minutes and I'll be ready," I smiled and ran back upstairs.
I got dressed and put on some make up before going back downstairs.
"I don't know if I can do it man," Arielle said to me.
"Shut up, you've been hiding out in this house for a week now since you find out you actually have a chance to meet Niall. And now you're trying to chicken out. Put your damn shoes on and come with," I said.
"But Sam-"
"No, you're not going to make me do this on my own, that's a lot of really talented people for me to meet to you know."
"Fine," she sighed and pulled on her shoes and we left the house, "But you better have a handkerchief in case I burst into tears."
"What am I? A British man in the 1920's?" I asked.
"I wish, then you would've courted me and married me," she said, "But instead, the first words you ever spoke to me were Want to come to my house and watch the X-Factor UK?"
"That's the only reason we're friends and you know it. If I had come out with an opening line like My Lady, would you like to come over and have tea in my grandmother's garden with us this Sunday? You would've waved me off like I was nothing."
Liam just laughed and shook my head at the bad British accent I attempted to do as we walked into the house. Arielle took a deep breath before we walked into the living room where all the voices were coming from.
"Everybody, this is Samantha and Arielle," Liam said.
"Lovely to meet you!" they all chorused.
"Oh man that's a lot of accents coming at me at once," Arielle said.
"We've heard loads about you Sam," Perrie smiled, making me smile.
"Oh really?" I looked at Liam.
"What can I say?" he smiled and shrugged.
We sat down.
"So where are you girls from?" Niall asked.
"Oregon, in the states," Arielle said.
She was doing surprisingly well considering I expected her to melt into a puddle on the floor.
"I've heard it's gorgeous there," Eleanor said.
"Oh crap," Kendall said as she looked down at her phone.
"What is it?" Harry asked, looking at her phone, "Oh."
"What?" Liam asked and Kendall held out her phone to him.
I looked at it with him. There was a picture of Liam and I in front of my house from a week ago.
