I woke up the next morning to the sound of the front door closing. I sat up, and Liam woke.

"What was that?" he yawned.

"The front door," I said, climbing out of bed and walking across the room to the door.

I pulled it open to reveal Arielle trying to sneak quietly into the house.

"Well, well, well," I said, standing there in my bra and underwear, "What do we have here?"

She looked me up and down then looked past me to Liam, laying in just his boxers in my bed.

"I could ask you the same thing," she said.

"Oh please," I said, "I'm not the one sneaking into the house at... 7 in the morning."

"I didn't think you'd wake up," she said.

"Well you've yet to learn how to quietly close a door. So we'll talk about why you're sneaking into the house at a later time," I said.

"Try not to have sex too loud I'm tired," she said.

"I'll yell your name during climax," I said as she walked towards her room.

"Please do."

I closed my door and climbed back into bed next to Liam. He kissed me gently.

"Good morning," he said.

"Shh, let's go back to sleep, I'm too tired to be alive yet."

He chuckled and we both closed our eyes.

The next time we woke up, it was from my phone ringing.

I groaned and rolled over, answering my phone, "Hello."

"Hey Sammy, how's London?" a familiar voice said, causing me to sit up in bed.

"Logan?" I asked.

"Yeah. How's London?"

"How did you get this number?"

"Why does it matter?"

"Because I want to know how you got this number."

"I got it from your dad."

My hands were shaking and I took the phone away from my face and just looked at it.

"Sam?" I could hear him say.

I hung up the phone and immediately dialed my mom's number.

"Hello," she answered.

"Mom?"

"Hey love, what's up?"

"Dad gave Logan my new phone number."

She sighed, "God damnit. I'm sorry Sam."

"Why would he do that? I finally have a way for him to just leave me alone and dad does that."

"I'm not sure why he would do that. I'll call him alright?"

"No," I sighed, "I'll call him. I miss you mom."

"I miss you too babe. I'll come and visit you girls soon alright?"

"Okay."

"I love you, try not to make your dad cry."

"I love you too, and no promises."

"Alright sweetie, I'll talk to you soon. Bye love."

"Okay, bye mom."

I hung up the phone.

"What's wrong?" Liam asked.

"I have to go yell at my dad for being an ass," I said.

"How come?"

"There's this kid named Logan back in Oregon, I was friends with him, and then he got weird, like he wouldn't leave me alone and got really possessive like we were dating even though I always told him I didn't like him like that. Moving and getting a new phone number was how I was able to make him leave me alone, and my dad gave him my God damn phone number even though he knows the situation."

"I'm sorry babe," he said.

"It's okay, I'll be right back," I said, leaning over and giving him a kiss before getting out of bed and pulling on some clothes and going downstairs.

I went outside on the back porch and lit a cigarette as my phone dialed my dad's number.

"Hello," he answered.

"Why would you give Logan my phone number?"

"He said he wanted to talk to you, I didn't think anything of it. Why does it matter?"

"You know why it matters. He's never going to leave me alone now. Even if I block his number, he'll find someone else's phone to call me on. We've been through all of this before Dad I thought you understood that I didn't want him to have my number and that I would be giving this number to people I actually wanted to communicate with all on my own. I don't need you giving my phone number out to people because you're pissed off with me."

"I'm not pissed off with you Samantha."

"Then what Dad? You just go give my number out to guys you'd rather me be with than Liam because you think I'm going to date someone who lives in a different continent?"

"You're willing to date a guy who's going to be travelling around the world a lot of the year with girls hanging off of him. Why would dating Logan be so much different?"

"Because I don't like Logan. And what does it matter if Liam has girls around him while he's on tour? He's not going to hurt me Dad, all you're doing is making me resent you, is that what you want? Do you really want all 4 of your children to hate you?'

"You know damn well that's not what I'm trying to do."

"Then what are you trying to do because I don't see any good outcome in what you're doing."

"I'm trying to see both of your dedication to whatever this is that's going on."

"We can figure out our dedication all on our own. I don't need you butting into yet another one of my relationships just because you think it's a bad idea. I don't see how your daughter being with someone she actually gives a shit about is such a bad thing."

"Because I don't want to see you hurt, I've seen how these boy band members are."

"You've seen them on TV and in magazines where they're protrayed badly, you don't know them. You never give people a chance to break out of the stereotype that you place on them. You need to stop trying to mess with my relationships, I don't try to mess with any of your severely unhealthy relationships."

"What makes my relationships severely unhealthy Samantha?"

"You don't love those girls you date, you're just trying not to be alone. You make them fall in love with you then you leave them when they say they love you because you're scared of it. Not everyone has an experience in life like you do dad. Not everyone gives up on love. So I'm asking you this nicely, stop butting into my relationships and trying to mess everything up because of your own fears."

"Fine Sam. Bye."

He hung up.

My dad was the king of hanging up on people during an argument. I sighed and put out my cigarette and went back inside. I went upstairs and crawled back into bed.

"How'd that go?"

"I'll be getting the silent treatment for sure now," I said.

"I'm sorry," he said, kissing my forehead.

"It's okay, so, which Disney movie first?"

"Well, we watched Toy Story last night..."

"So Toy Story 2?"

"You already know me so well," he smiled as I got out of bed to put the movie in.
